  1. As an eternal optimist, I am expecting that with obviously lower attendances, a more flexible package regarding TV coverage for all matches. However that would require Sky and EFL to be imaginative, so not holding up much hope. The very least would be, if restriction were imposed then season ticket holders would have access to live matches as per last season at no extra cost.
  2. Ifollow subscription packages not available yet to all participating clubs.Presume as we are not in the Ifollow scheme, our packages will be available later.
  3. Emailed the club no response as yet, presume they are hoping to sell season tickets for actual attendance at Ewood, before releasing streaming prices. In the event of further restrictions, would presume Rovers TV would be accessible as was Ifollow last season.
  4. Mail Online reporting about to appoint ex Celtic chief scout John Park.
  5. Strange set of circumstances . Either, now, no requirement due to financial circumstances, or those circumstances have lead chosen candidate to withdraw.
  6. Was hoping that isn't true, like a drowning man clutching at straws.
  7. If a competent CEO and Chief Accountant cannot hand on heart assure a player that an embargo will be lifted, then obviously they will look elsewhere.,The 64 million Dollar question is why were they so unsure of exiting an embargo. How close to the wire were we, and how are we, long term, ever going to be a professionally cohesive unit both off field and on. The whole set up reeks of complacency and a inevitability of our circumstances.
  8. If the club had the confidence that the embargo would be lifted, then signings should have been lined up. If a player had the confidence of a contract with a club that they had confidence in, then surely they would have waited. All this points yet again to a amateurish approach from the Ewood hierarchy, never on the front foot. Season ticket prices, cheap pitch re-furb,late kit issue.
  9. People pushing Mcbride as a potential addition to the squad. Personally I regard , Butterworth and Vale ahead of him in performances and potential, however both have had their progress halted by injuries. The link to Wyke is tenuous, however if true, this would prove Mowbray's scattergun approach to transfers, especially c/forwards playing as wingers. Wyke right wing,Brereton left wing, and of course Gallagher overlapping full back.
  10. The Three Lummoxes BB, SG,& CW appearing at a football ground near you!!!!!
  11. If a u-turn has come about through an inability to get their choice, then without a shadow of a doubt Mowbray would have known. To continue in the post in those circumstances is not the "honourable" thing to do. Personally the taps may have been turned off as more pressing humanitarian needs in India take precedent. Armstrong sale will keep us afloat for a short time. Cannot understand any logical reason to delay any presumed major changes as anticipated by some on here. However to presume logic in the case of BRFC is somewhat optimistic.
  12. If the whole process of decision making, communication etc is having a detrimental effect on the situation at BRFC ,which most people agree with. Then surely it is down to the senior employees of BRFC to demand a more professional and responsive process, and we know that will not happen. The whole atmosphere reeks of complacency.
  13. We have gone ahead with the standard refurbishment due to being unable to externally raise the £2 million required for a stitch pitch.
  14. If there is any substance to the rumour, it's most likely the attempt to procure external funding to completely refurbish the Ewood and training ground pitches.
  15. Any investor seriously thinking of any return on their money would be expecting PL football for an appreciable amount of time. It isn't going to happen, even a one season term in PL would not create a windfall, sadly.
  16. Can still picture his header against Man City in the FA Cup.
  17. All yesterday proved was, against poor sides who play openly, our counter-attacking style is to be admired. However as seen in the latter stages of the season, after the false dawn, we still cannot break down sides who drop deep. A plan B is required, which Mowbray has blatantly been unable to organise. Big leap of faith to keep his as manager, still dining off Lg 1 promotion.
  18. Just seen Derek Fazackerley in the Waddington Arms beer garden .Looks as fit as a butchers dog, 69 years old. My mind immediately switched to Ayala, oh dear, Mowbray Master Transfer 27.
  19. On reflection, the Mowbray comments on him being performance based, trying to improve each individual.,Is reflected on the pitch. A group of individuals with no set pattern of play. A cohesive team will always overcome a set of individuals, especially the standard of ours. He even had a dig at MCarthy at Cardiff, and his style of play, maybe Saturday Mowbray will get his come-uppance. Our delusional manager who thinks he can turn us into a glorious free flowing all conquering club, whilst in the meantime results are secondary. He really is entering the Keanesque realms of delusional fantasy, born out of an irrational sense of security, as we are on a journey. He really needs to be relieved of his duties ASAP. However he will cling on until the end of the season, whilst Waggot and Venky's pray to their respective Idols for safety.
