  1. Something you're not telling us bob?
  2. I'd be quite insulted personally. If it wasn't for that former ska-core poser Alex Huntley (aged 32) fronting them, Glasgow wouldn't be saddled with FF. And I'd be delighted.
  3. Ok, feeling more like myself now, Mother Earth by Within Tempatation is an great symphonic metal album, Sharon den Adel has a beautiful voice. And now I hear Nightwish are playing the Glasgow Academy in February.....sweet. PS, Snow Patrol keep getting called a Scottish band....why? And Franz chuffing Ferdinand...... three of them are English! It's ok, we don't want them, take them back....please?
  4. Not to be pedantic (or risk the flood controls keeping out of this thread...) but how can you be disappointed with an album having no kick to it and then praise Keane? Snow Patrol on the other hand are reasonable - 'Run' is the way pop music should be done.
  5. Ah, but you forget that cuidado is Morten Gamst Pedersen.
  6. I'm actually wearing a t-shirt right now that used to belong to the one on the top left. Now if only I could play guitar like him.... (btw the one with the long legs is the one in the top picture)
  7. So....Souness was vindicated in not playing Jansen on the left? If you keep back-pedalling like this your chain's going to fall off.
  8. Dio (the band's) first album Holy Diver is a recent purchase, it's excellent. RJD has one of the finest voices ever to grace rock/metal.
  9. Who are the other two stoners? (I apologise) EDIT> Damn you, Colin.
  10. Reid didn't play on the left. How can ypu make such a judgement on a players ability when you don't even watch the highlights?
  11. reid sucked, admit it. what did he do, offensively?!?!?! Who did Reid keep out of the team again? Martin someone? Really struggling for optimism after the goals conceded yesterday. The biggest worry is that at least two of the goals were not as result of us being reduced to ten men but because of the shambolic defending on display. I don't want to start the Emerton criticism up again, but what in the name of God was he thinking? Amoruso? Even I'm begining to lose faith.
  12. Reid? Fleurking hell, that blindsided me. Come on Rovers.
  13. Less of the soap dodgin' comments, Easterling.
  14. Did I say McNamara or Maloney should have played against Moldova? I was making a general pooint about the standard of Scottish players available. Paul Lambert as Scotland manager? You've got green-tinted, retinas never mind glasses!
  15. Players of a good standard that Scotland have available are Gary Naysmith, Barry Ferguson, Paul Dickov, Jackie McNamara, James McFadden. Some players of a reasonable, or reliable, standard are Steven Pressley, Barry Nicholson (never, ever gets picked), Russel Anderson, David McNamee (no kidding), Steven Thompson, Stevie Crawford, Robbie Winters, Nigel Quashie. Some players with the potential to be very good Scotland players: Stephen Pearson, Shaun Maloney, Derek Riordan, Darren Fletcher, David Marshall, Craig Gordon, Chris Burke. Players not good enough for international football: the Caldwells, Malky MacKay, Gary Holt, Lee Wilkie, Richard Hughes. From the 'good' and 'decent' players listed above Scotland certainly have the quality to beat the likes of Moldova. It's a shame, but Vogts has to go. On the subject of Robbie Winters - a man who i don't think ever managed more than 10 goals a season in Scotland has got something ridiculous like 23 in 26 games in Norway. If that doesn't say something about the quality of team he's playing against I don't know what does.
  16. Ever considered stand-up? With acerbic wit like that I'm sure you'd make the big time. No i have not considered it. But I everything i said it that post was true, wasnt it. Unless you consider getting a point to Moldova a good one Well no, because there is no such country as 'shitland' you irritating little clown. Hopefuly you saw my assertion of you before den deleted it. Incidentally, why isn't 'shitland' worthy of deletion?
  17. Got the new Sonata Arctica album today, very nice. I've actually spent too much on CDs lately, but it's the situation where you're in the record trading shop and you know if you don't buy the album right there and then someone else will. So, albums by Rhapsody, Children of Bodom, Primal Fear, Angel Dust, Megadeth, Dream Evil and Teenage Fanclub (spot the odd one out ) getting heavily roteated at the mo.
  18. I won't. Rooney has no obligation as a Scouser to sign or not sign for any club. I've got no loving for United of course, but this sort of city vs city attitude is pathetic.
  19. Ever considered stand-up? With acerbic wit like that I'm sure you'd make the big time.
  20. Well I've heard the two singles plus one other song from the new Slipknot album, and aprt from the addtion of a few Slayer-lite guitar solos there's not much else on offer.
  21. I get the feeling Slipknot are put top of the bill so they can survive the Slayer crowd. The thinking perhaps is that instead of bottling them offstage they'd just leave after Slayer finished their set. I was thinking about going to see Slayer, but £25 for an hour long set with three other crap bands on the bill (Slipknot plus two dreadful support acts, Damageplan and Mastodon) was asking a bit much of me.
  22. If 'decent' is furnessese for 'crapulent' I'll agree with you.
  23. I remember Korn - terrible. (although Word Up really is a new low, even for them)
