  1. Seriuosly, Al, that's pretty sad. Noone is bigger than the club, not Parkes and not Hughes either.
  2. Ah Band Aid 20...lots of pop stars sit down in a studio for 5 minutes to record a few lines, give a couple of 'heartfelt' interviews then go home happy in the knowledege that they've made a difference. I wonder how much of a 'difference' donating 5% of their royalties to the cause would make - y'know, for the ones that actually write stuff. (I know Bono and Geldof are serious but the two of them do my head in )
  3. Out of curiosity, how do you pronounce the 'a with a circle above it' in Norway? I've been told by a Swede it's pronounced 'o' is it the same on your side of the border?
  4. He's not though, he played the through ball to the bloke who shot which the keeper saved so Iversen could tap it in. Blast! I just got in from work and saw some fella with a Busted haircut wearing the no. 11 shirt tap it in and assumed it had to be our Morten.
  5. Nice to see Morten on the scoresheet. Can't do his confidence any harm.
  6. Hush child.
  7. I concur. Not on the scoreline (which I never predict) but Brum fans are getting a little too comfortable with their Prem status. First season back in the big league they struggle against relegation until the arrival of a big name striker who helps them reach a respectable final league position. Second season they surprise everyone and finish a lot higher up the league than expected. Third season (so far) has been a struggle with expensive signings not living up to their billing. Sound familiar?
  8. Hughesy and friends.
  9. :applause:
  10. Urgh. That's just vile.
  11. Are you still here? What happenned to "your ##### manager can burn in hell I'll be laughing when your ##### club goes down and my beautiful Morten can get the move he deserves yadayadayada"? rover6, change the record mate. Isn't it about time you started on a new crusade? Maybe you could try your hand at introducing Christianity to the Middle East or something?
  12. Hey, I respect myself. Shame noone else does.
  13. Bloody right.
  14. Marsh says Dickov missed a good chance to win it near the end. Another point and we're off the bottom, but will results like this be enough?
  15. Link or no link? EDIT: I'd like to express my thanks to Tony Parkes for all his hard work at the club for more years than I've been alive - good luck in the future and thanks for the memories.
  16. That's my three favourtie quotes from the article - the bold parts in particular. How people can read trash like this and not feel patronized is far, far beyond me. Which is a shame because we're talking about a very serious issue here. My personal view on what should happen to mentally-able paedophials is something that would never be held up in law, but the laxness of the present system is frightening.
  17. Finally we agree on something in this thread. PS awesomenessisn'taproper: word EDIT>Since Saturday I've bought Insanity & Genius and Somewhere Out In Space by Gamma Ray, Centruy Child by Nightwish and Siege Perilous by Kamelot for a total of £26. Not bad going.
  18. Not that you called him a fool for not pursuing that line of tactics the very week before he did and then proceeded to slaughter him after it didn't come off, though, eh? Oh wait.
  19. I think this will be the third time I've said this... Go away cudiado, you aren't a Rovers fan. You don't even come across as a football fan. Just please go away.
  20. Yes, footballers' autobiographies are always choc-full of interesting 'facts'.
  21. In Perfect Harmony by Within Tempatation is a song that's refused to leave my head over the past few days. Not that I'm complaining, it's a beautiful piece of music. Sharon Den Adel's voice is simply angelic.
  22. Well, that's unbeaten in two. Suppose we have to be happy with that the way it was panning out.
  23. Get the #### in! Come on Rovers
  24. West Brom are winning too...
