Speaking of manufactured boy bands, Busted are taking a break from music. Hopefully for at least 50 years. AESF will be gutted. So that means every band, with boys in it. Anyway, I got two Helloween albums, an Arch Enemy album and a Saxon best of for a pithy £23 at the weekend. Result. Best British live act for 2004? DragonForce, IMO.

Certainly is going to be an interesting team we put out. The lack of cover for the right back position remains a problem. Any of our American friends know how well Nelsen can play at full back? Reid was decent there last season but at the end of the day it's not his position. The midfield is also going to be the real worry. I'd hesitate about throwing either Mokoena or Tugay into the middle of the park. Maybe this will be Thommo's chance at a central role?

The thing is, the refs are in some cases wired up to the technical area already, and the fourth official has a TV set in the dugout. In an instance like this it would have taken a matter of seconds for him to say yes or no. The whole idea is still pretty iffy though - there are occasions when contested 'goals' still look no clearer after five different replays.
