  1. He said that in a Norwegian podcast with a local newspaper in Haugesund where his girlfriend is from and where he spent some amazing years playing for Haugesunds FK. His dream is to go to PL, but that won’t happen with rovers and him turning 30 this year it makes sense to go back to Norway to finish his career and take care of his family.
  2. πŸ˜‚ How could I? to be fair - he did contribute and is a solid player for the remaining 10-15 minutes to see out games. I feel more confident with subbing in Forshaw then Bucko to see out a game.
  3. More competition for Tronny, who seems to be sitting deep. Important to plan around Tronny leaving next year. He has said he loves life in Blackburn, but wants to move back to Norway for family matters.
  4. Who would be happy with this: GK: Toth/Pears/Michalski RB: Miller/Alebiosu/Montgomery RCB: Carter/Miller/Hyam LCB: Wharton/Mcloughlin/Pickering LB: Ribeiro/Pickering/De Neve LW: De Neve/Kargbo/ DM/CM: 3T/Montgomery RW:Hedges/Ohashi? CAM: Cantwell/Tyjon/Bucko ST:Gueye/Ohashi/Leonard Anyone missing? several players could be used in different positions - quite versatile without square pegs in round holes. Must have: quick, energetic RW. For me that’s all I need. nice to have: another striker
  5. Wishful thinking: Bali Mumba as Brittain replacement - that would be amazing business unfortunately won’t happen
  6. Danny Batth turns 35. He was a very solid player, especially with Wharton out. With him back in all honestly it makes sense to not give him another year. Look at Sunderland where he came from. They took the chance even though he was quite a useful player for them.
  7. He did, but didn’t he tear his meniscus or something in March and was out for the rest of the season? Just came back and got 30 minutes for Derby in pre-season. to be honest: would we be happy with us taking someone who came from a severe injury, 34 year old and didn’t get a proper pre-season? I can understand why we didn’t make a lot of efforts to maintain him, and he has a longer history with Derby and history with JE
  8. I can understand the Weimann issue, but he is 34. He came back now for Derby after an injury. He is a player that takes care of himself, but he can easily become an expensive sick note.
  9. I can see us front runners on the Sunderland player who had impressed for Hibs. Us and Pompey linked, surely we are above Pompey? πŸ˜…
  10. The FM/CM thing was tongue in cheek, but if there is an underlying issue with his ACL, meniscus or issues such as bursitis or arthritis which could be career damaging or mean he could miss a lot of matches because the knee need Β«a breakΒ». I am all for postponing and it makes sense with pay as you play. Then we at least will be neck-to-neck and he will have to take responsibility to do his utmost to stay fit and not provoke any further problems
  11. Is Moussa Baradji injury prone in FM2024/25? Yes, Moussa Baradji is quite injury prone in Football Manager 2024/25. It is likely he will get a few injuries, take this into consideration when thinking about signing him
  12. Some years ago Wesley failed his medical for a loan move back to Club Brugge. Apparently it was because his ACL was too badly damaged despite being out for over a year. A failed medical often means the club can't get insurance for the player One of the most famous ones: June 2018, Liverpool negotiated with Lyon for the transfer of Fekir, offering a maximum €60 million. Fekir even agreed personal terms, before the transfer collapsed due to a knee issue that appeared during the medical.
  13. Leif Davies unused sub for Ipswich tonight. Wonder where he is off too.
  14. He is good at holding the ball up, getting free kicks and playing in others. He has looked fitter in pre-season, but doesent have the workload needed. Could work interim as a 30-45 minute cameo.
  15. Tyjon, Cantwell can play there as can probably AK. Our squad is quite versatile.
  16. No, but are there really many teams out there who won’t suffer if their two most important players gets injured? And I might be happy with Tavares, just don’t know enough yet.
  17. For me 3 is enough. Of course it depends a bit what these 3 signings are.
  18. Think that was the case. Something underlying which could mean injury in the future. Quite risky to transfer in someone you know can become more on the injury table than the pitch.
  19. https://saintsmarching.com/saints-striker-dismissed-winter-move-but-must-seal-same-opportunity-now were we sniffing about getting Diaz on loan in January? Bali Mumba: Shirt changed from 2 to 1 1. Although this does not explicitly confirm Mumba’s transfer future, it all but confirms that the 23-year-old full-back will remain at Argyle for the upcoming season Apparently he is high up the list on replacements if Brittain goes.
  20. How bad is Liverpool when Morton is starting for them?
  21. You don’t want to be reliant, but you can’t fill your squad with loanees and old players just in case. its a risk and you never know if they really are up to it unless given a chance. How many times hasnt players really found there place and stood out because of injuries on the first XI.
