I really hope he goes out of the country if we decide to sell him. It is bad business to strengthen one of our rivals. I think SPL would fit him perfectly -

I am getting a tad tired of Mr.Sam Allardyce. Why can't he see what most of the supporters are seeing? We need a natural goalscorer in Benni in the first XI or at least from 60 minutes in the game? Keith Andrews needs to be dropped. We know (compared to last season) have plenty of possibilities to be playing 4-4-2 and attacking! I really agree with those whome think Jason Roberts is awful. I can't forgive him for all the misses he did last season. He almost cost ut the Premiership and he represends an awful type of football. Strength, strength, strength, Same as Heskey. Useless. -

Is there a Hooligan problem in Blackburn? Many casuals? I was at the Stoke City away game this year. Even though there are many idiots among the Rovers fans (Smoking Joe in the bathrooms, very drunk) etc I didnt see them making any trouble at all. -

The Millwall boss blames everything on the Hammers supporters. Millwall boss Kenny Jackett added: "I didn't fear for my own safety." He added: "There were no Millwall fans on the pitch. They stayed where they were supposed to. "There were a lot of people on the pitch. The lads gathered together and came to the sides, as they should have. "I wasn't aware of the stabbing outside the ground. I'm very sad to hear that. We've got a passionate game in this country, but when it oversteps the mark then things have to be done." I really hope we can avoid this! The most ridicilous and scarying thing is that it seems as scumbags where travelling from all over the country to fight. They don't even fight for their own firm, but for another firm, because it is WHU - Millwall. Stupid stupid stupid morons. -
Brilliant game ! United were spectators, but am I the only one thinking that they (especially Ronaldo) behaved like scumbags at the end of the game? I would like to listen to Sir Alex's interview if someone did that against United.

After serving his ban, he played 75 minutes in a reserve game and said he wanted to transform his image to become a role model -

I know I would love Barton fighting for Rovers at Turf Moor next season! Can anyone find the tackle at Alonso, pretty please? -
I agree. But would you say it was a Rovers penalty or not if it was us instead of Arsenal?

I think we/Sam would strighten Barton up. After reading about his career I really think he has tried to become a better person, ie role model. I haven't seen his challenge on Alonso, but I know what I saw from that game. I saw only 1 guy fighting for his club trying to avoid relegation. He was awesome at City and I would like to give him a chance at Rovers. -
This tackle provoked massive discussions amongst the commentators on Norwegian telly. 2 of them saying it wasn't a red and the other one saying it was. It was a penalty. He fell over or twisted his feet amongst Fabregas' feet and took away his scoring chance. He was the last man and it was a dead cert scoring chance. I would be furious if we were not given a penalty on that , and if it is a penalty it is a red card for being the last man.

Craig Bellamy(taken from Wikipedia) - he was sent off for kicking out at Inter defender Marco Materazzi - In March 2004, he threw a chair at then-first-team coach John Carver - Bellamy had a very public falling-out with his replacement as Newcastle manager, Graeme Souness - It was his first game after being cleared of supposedly assaulting a woman in a Cardiff bar. - In February 2007 it was alleged that Bellamy attacked team mate John Arne Riise with a golf club during a team training session in Portugal - after Bellamy stormed out of training in protest - In a post-match interview he gave no respect to Finland and scorer of the winning goal, Jonatan Johansson, describing Finland as "a poor side" and saying "Don't know how Johansson scored, I think he isn't good enough to score". Many similiarities and I know I loved this guy to death. -

Daily Mail an example of very very very bad journalism << McCarthy expected to start with Santa Cruz in Allardyce’s first game against Stoke last Saturday but the Paraguayan was instead set to partner Jason Roberts before pulling out with a calf injury. McCarthy went on to score twice to take his total to four goals in three games. >> As we all know - it was Mccarthy who partnered Roberts! -

And we would just be waiting until another job came up and he wanted to leave us? Remember that he also refused to deny that he was in the Newcastle running, because he was interested in the job at St James Park? He was going to leave us anytime soon anyway. -

Did the Axe play? -
One of the major reasons that Axe was playing very badly a period, was the fact that he was in midfield together with Toogs. It is not possible to play Mokoena and Toogs together, than you don't have any pace or attacking abilities, except toogs long passes. I think therefore I would choose b ) too, because I think Mokoena would be able to do decent work on the midfield together with Reid.
