  1. Good time to resurrect his career ?
  2. Our old mate Madison scored again today. That's 9 for the season I think and 13 assists. Surely got to be worth a punt?
  3. Saw a clip of him scoring against QPR earlier. Great goal. Held the ball up, shrugged off the left back, cut inside, past the CB and curled one left footed into the corner. Makes you wonder if there are actually two Breretons...
  4. I'd play Brereton up top against Bolton from the start. Chance to get a goal against a local-ish team and seal their relegation = instant kudos ?
  5. Anybody privvy to Waggott's meeting with the London supporter's branch?
  6. Fair post. From TM's recent musings, it would seem that 60pts was the target. He has a fighting chance of achieving that (especially if he gets a result today). This summer defines TM and Waggot to some extent. Without some solid first team signings materialising they will struggle to shift season tickets based on this year's performances (at last year's or above) prices.
  7. Getting to the stage where I would rather see us buy a couple of quality players each window and then pad out the squad with under 23s
  8. Perhaps without the losing streaks and some pastings away from home, he wouldn't be focusing on defence. Which, alongside a striker, is where the investment is needed most. Massive window this summer, not convinced we'll get it right. Going to need North of £10-15 mil and that's without selling Dack.
  9. Good win that. No excuse for not blooding the kids now. Bell may make a decent left winger before he makes a decent left back.
  10. Can't argue with that although I think we are covered for AM unless Dack goes. I'd like to see another natural wide player in.
  11. Rather we tried to add a bit of height to the team.
  12. What an absolute muppet. Two clean sheets with victories sandwiching a barrel load of defeats and he concludes the midfield is better with the pairing during the defeats. EEE-AW
  13. On holiday so missed the game but a great win that guarantees safety. Now then TM, let's see Chapman in for Conway and Nyambe for Bennett and see what that 11 can do...
  14. Chapman not injured. Just not selected according to Sharpe. Gone for extra striker instead. TM obviously thinks the extra striker will thrive on the quality crosses coming in from out wide, so no need for Chapman to actually deliver some. Conway FFS.
  15. This poll is as skewed as a peoples' vote. It's 50 choices for leave and 1 for remain...
  16. 2 points. One against Bolton and an unexpected point at Norwich.
  17. More worrying that he is still basing formations on who he signs, rather than signing players to fit a formation.
  18. Pah! £350k? Liverpool are small fry. We've spent £7mil on a striker for our under 23s.
  19. Eactly. He should be buying 4 players to become the spine of the team immediately. Keeper, CB, cm, cf. They should all be good enough to command a place. We can slot in the rest of our midfielders (sorry -squad) around that. Definitely not the other way round. Only Graham, Dack and possibly Nyambe and Lennihan have shown enough to be first choice.
  20. We'd have struggled aerially against Wednesday with our normal back four. Today was just par for the course. Expected us to lose and we did -in the normal fashion! Not even upset tonight. Moved back into apathetic mode. Good luck shifting season tickets Mr Waggott. Perhaps you will tell us how genuinely exciting our summer signings will be? Oh...you did that last year..... I noticed Sheff Weds already had their early bird deal out...
