Played averagely against an appalling side, who've handed us chances on a plate...and we're losing. The constant behind our crap defensive performances over last couple of years is Mulgrew. Although I think someone like Allardyce would bin the whole back line and keeper. If we have any aspirations of promotion in the next year or 2, we need to sort the defence ..yet it's not an issue for TM.

We needed 4-5 quality signings this year, what makes you think he will make them in summer?? Bennett was brilliant on the wing? He made a couple of decent runs with no end product. I like the lad but he isn't a winger in a million years. His career goals/assists ratio is shocking. If that was brilliant wing play then we are setting the bar very low.

All we have left to play for now. For this to be a decent season we need to win all 3 of those.

Exactly. Manager gets the plaudits when things come off, (although Bennett has struggled in that position in the last few games). So has to be accountable when he doesn't adapt/change the situation if it's going wrong. His favouritism towards certain players (Bennett, Williams, Smallwood, Conway) has done us no favours at times this season. Still, at least this is the most spectacular capitulation yet. I suppose that's a positive...

Yup If you have a natural, pacy full back who has done pretty well this season, you play him. Not shoe horn one of your favourites in there, weakening the side.
