About as much as we could hope for with this side. I'd happily take the point. -

What we have learned today is that generally, when other team's supporters say a player's legs have gone, they are correct. When they say "He's shit, I'd drive him there myself." They are pretty reliable judges. If fans are generally unhappy a player is leaving. They usually turn out to be a good signing for the club buying. -

Everything that is shit about our current squad is on show today. Teams all around us getting results. It's ok though - we'll be signing quality at the end of the window ... -

Same with Gueye. We should know this by now. Only y impactful as subs. No chance we get anything out of this game. -

If we had any quality signings lined up, they would be in by now. We are just waiting to see which prem loans may be offered our way or whether another champ side, in need of a good striker, will offload one of their duds to us on the cheap. -

His name has cropped up as a supposed interest in the last 2/3 windows. We clearly can't afford the lad from the division below. -

I'd say that sums up most football fans. Just because you aren't 'hardcore' doesn't mean you aren't a fan. Now if you start watching and supporting another team - you aren't a fan. You can fuck right off. -

The crap he came out with about reigning the owners ambition after promotion did for me. Rather than trying to go for it, he diluted all expectations quoting long term projects and stability....and here we still are. -

Its not a great loss though. It would be a 'meh' kind of signing. -

Asante isn't the worst shout I've seen. Quicker than we have, good engine and seems quite robust. Decent age at 26 and has champ experience. He's hardly prolific but offers something we don't currently have. Hopefully there are better options though. Club should throw money at this window - there's no excuse but we all know they won't. Need to get Britain tied down in a new contract or he'll be the next out the door for nowt. -

Given how ineffective Dolan, Hedges, Weimann are out wide, we could really do with signing 2 wide players and rotate with ACD. Although going forward there may be a decent argument to push Brittain wide right and play Dion at right back. Wonder if that is what Eustace has in mind. -

Coventry seem to be the new Boro in terms of signing links. -

Smacks of a JDT 2 fingers at Waggot. He would definitely be highlighting the lack of strikers when interviewed after. -

Given our minimal outlay over the last couple of years, the 2 incomings had better be permanent and for fees. They won't be though. Expecting 2 journey man loans .If the club had any ambition (we know they don't) they would be trying to agree a deal to sign Beck in the summer too.
