Players turn up and play. There is a difference between a hate filled atmosphere towards owners/managers/board. Very rarely is that aimed at the players. It's not an excuse to hide poor performances behind. Pity the logic doesn't work the other way as the players should have romped home against Burnley/PNE away etc given the large positive backing they received.

Now here's the thing. All those I know - all blame Venkys/the board for the complete shambles of a club we have - including the appointment of a crap manager. I would go as far as saying that the majority of the people simply accept the bulk of the players simply aren't good enough to be playing week in, week out. As such any hostility is aimed at those higher up the chain. It is just a feeling of complete apathy towards the players. Can we say the same about those dwindling few who remain in the: what more can venkys do/the board are trying their best/we have a small fan base camp? They are clearly angry, but have no other option than to blame the players/manager for everything. Kind of ironic.
