Absolutely. We are over stocked with bang average 10s and no proper wide players. Only one we have is Hedges and he's hit/miss and injury prone. Dolan Siggy Weimann Ohashi Gilsenan Bloxham All arguably tens. IF we sign Cantwell, I'd have no issues getting Dolan and Siggy minimum out the door. Surely there would be some takers. Then get 2 quick, genuine wide players in. Team would be much better for it. Still another decent forward short. Big Mac gets injured and there's nobody to lead the line. It's not Ohashi's strength. Then we are down to Leonard/Vale. Need a big Nzonzi size centre midfielder and of course a keeper.

If the club has any kind of ambition, it simply has to. Doesn't need to be 5 or 6 but room for 2 or 3. Every club needs a couple of 'top' players. Probably why most most of our better players have walked for free over the last few years - as there is no aspirational ceiling at the club. We have a production line of low earners via the academy to balance out the other end.

Didn't Brittain give one away against Norwich? Also lucky when Pears passed straight to their forward on the 6 yard box in the same game. Playing out that way is going to cost goals over the season. We saw that last year. I don't think we are going to score many this year so the fewer we concede the better. Gueye on the pitch undoubtedly makes us a better side at the moment.

It's bizarre. When Eustace came in, he seemed to realise that the players we have were crap at it and stopped it. Ball went direct and up the field. As a result, the football wasn't great but we conceded less. This season he's got us playing out the same way as JDT- with the same players that couldn't do it last year. Upshot being we concede 2 a game. Seems completely bonkers to me. I'm absolutely confident that Fadz and Baath will be of no use in that system.
