  1. Yup, never thought I'd say this but he's been excellent recently and his distribution is better than Kaminski.
  2. Ok. The point somebody initially made was the manager was right not to start Dack and some posters were wrong to disagree with him being left on the bench. If a player is fit - he should be able to play 90 mins with lesser risk of injury. Start the player. If he isn't fit, he should be out of the matchday squad. If he isn't fit (and only the player/JDT will know this, bringing him into a game which is becoming frenetic - off the bench, doesn't really make sense. Surely the player is at the same -or greater risk of injury - which happened. So you can argue JDT was sensible not to start him but stupid for throwing him on. But I'm happy to bow to your/Bethnell's opinion even though I'm not quite sure what it is 😂 Anyway, off out for a pint. Enjoy your evening chaps 👍
  3. If he is fit. He should start. If he isn't, don't play him at all. That's the manager's call. No point saying you want to rest him, but bring him on anyway. If he started today. He may have pulled a muscle or he may not. I'm not sure what you are missing?
  4. So if he's feeling the pace, why even put him on the bench? Surely you leave him out the squad. ...or he didn't warm up properly... or coming on cold has caused the issue. Either way, if he's fit, he should start. If he isn't then don't play him at all.
  5. 😂 Only as daft as saying he needed resting to stop him pulling a muscle - that can happen at any time!
  6. Probably wouldn't have done his muscle if he'd started and got into the pace of the game.
  7. I'd argue that up to last 18 months, he probably was around champ standard. The last 18 months he's been absolutely useless... at any level.
  8. We had the ball around their box, firing crosses in - yet still only 2-3 in the box..the rest camped outside it. Just don't get it.
  9. No fan of Swansea approach but thst last attack they got the ball out wide and had 5 players in our box. We only ever have 1/2 at best. Infuriating
  10. Not taken long for JDT to play Sorba as wingback and nullify his attacking threat. Most predictable thing ever. Dolan decent. Rest shite so far.
  11. We don't have anybody that does. He's the only one of the current 'Strikers' who can have a go at it. It's a piss poor state of affairs tbh.
  12. The striking options are awful. Manager has clearly seen enough of Vale and Gallagher. Dolan lits a shift in but doesn't look a threat. Only thing that might work in my humble opinion is BBD central with Dack behind and Hedges/Sorba out wide.
  13. Just seen the highlights. Dack took that superbly but Watford missed 2 absolute sitters second half. Lucky point in the end.
  14. I'd say thats exactly where we are heading. Said it a few weeks ago. First team will be made up the better academy developed players on low wages. Like an under 23 side. All of whom will have a 'for sale' sign round their necks. The under 21 side is where any 'investment' in players will go. Just like the lad we tried to sign from Rochdale. Its the only model that makes sense under these owners.
  15. Load of bollocks from Broughton. What kind of recruitment policy identifies that we need a striker - as outlined by the manager. Then, despite trying and failing to land one, ignores the striker on the table to pursue a 'star' short term signing? Which he still f**d up. Club are taking the piss.
  16. Poor window even if O'Brien wasn't ballsed up. Striker was the priority as mentioned by the manager and they didn't deliver. How can you claim the recruitment team did its job?
