Forshaw - joke signing Kargbo - an unknown punt - different type of player but similar outlay/profile to Gueye. Sanderson (an ok loan as a squad filler). If the Portuguese lad comes I'd say that isn't a bad loan either). From a defensive point of view - a decent window. However, everyone knows where the issues in our squad are. All season we've been told we need to add quality at the top end. If Kargbo and another young loan are the best we can do, it's really poor. Also helps that Buckley and Trav have been at the club a long time. They have played together in previous seasons and under 21 etc. Those 2 will know each other's game inside out. I don't think Buckley is really consistent enough for the top end of the championship but he is a far better option with Trav than JRC or Forshaw.

Forshaw is a bad signing. He can't play a full 90 and seems well off the pace .The only benefit he should bring is a calm, experienced head, which helps the team see out the last 10 minutes of a game. That was nonexistent last night.
