  1. The sizing chart is the same for the 60’s ones (same manufacturer) & they were a “true fit” - by that I mean I ordered an XL 44” & the width of the shirt was 22” if that helps. So find a t shirt you are comfortable with, measure it & order the one closest to that size would be my tip 👍🏻
  2. Clearly that’s what we’re hoping 👍
  3. Understood…just to explain, it’s time-consuming and disproportionately expensive to get a sample made up & as this is aimed at raising money for a great cause (& the same supplier did a terrific job with the 60’s style shirts) we decided to offer it up & see who fancied one. It will be more like a modern-day shirt than the 60’s ones as the fabric is aiming to replicate that early 70’s switch to polyester. My original version of this shirt was the first “nylon” shirt I ever had but it didn’t have the number on as printing techniques weren’t as advanced back then. We will carry *some* stock on this one as we suspect folks might fancy one for a Christmas present but it helps us to help Tony if we can get a good number of pre-orders.

  10. My maternal grandparents ran a grocers shop in Padiham. My grandad would give me a fresh tea cake, warm from the baker’s wooden delivery tray, together with a slab of Lancashire crumbly of such magnitude merely lifting it to my mouth would today be deemed as aerobic exercise, in order to keep me quiet. How that shop ever made a profit when I ate most of the cheese counter is a mystery…

  14. Has to be said…terrific entertainment, the game contained a bit of everything, except the what I believed to be an inevitable red card for Szmodics. Plus points : character in the 2nd half, Ennis’s cameo, Pickering’s work rate Negatives : no shots on target for about an hour, susceptible to the long, high ball over the top, only got going against ten men Quite the roller-coaster today…

  19. There goes the neighbourhood eh ?😆 @StubbsUK suggested we try the JW after we enjoyed the Girona experience, so we are testing it out. For a small fee we can be persuaded to return to the Riverside. Yesterday’s weather made it a sound choice for sure…

Ahead of the season opener against WBA at Ewood, the podcast panel of James Marsh, Ian Herbert & Tiebreak judge Roger Whiteside, consider who the key movers & shakers are likely to be this season & predicts their 1-24 for the upcoming championship campaign. The format owes a little to sorting methodology, agile project management techniques and squash club ladders...bear with it, you'll get the hang of it soon enough. In Part 2 Roger interviews Fraser Read, Head of Marketing at Rovers and talks about the newly revamped 1875 membership schemes. https://www.brfcs.com/magazine/podcasts/the-'what-now'-show-1-24-prediction/32
