Always find it slightly odd he hasn't retained some connection with the club. It seemed once he left in 1996 that he and the cub forgot about each other. Like how often would you see him and Shearer sitting in the stand together at Ewood?
At Leeds you have the Don Revie Stand. Dalglish is not held in the same regard.
Revie was at Leeds for 13 years & is synonymous with them as Dalglish is with Liverpool

All that said I absolutely would not expect any sympathy from Rovers fans in general, the rivalry being the way it has been these last 40 odd years. Personally I quite like the needle when we play, adds to the match day - but not the over the top stuff. And once the game is done I’d rather have a bit of banter over a pint and discuss the game.

I mean you get some pretty stupid comments on here but.....
They would have easily disposed of that Southampton team under Dyche too, they were simply not up for it. Luckily for them they still have a few other teams to play who will already be on the beach too, much like half our players already are.
This place needs a sarcasm emoji clearly…🤦♂️

Dyche was clearly holding this lot back…
Should be 3 or 4 up. Southampton doing a passable impression of a pub side…

Nice to see Sam Gallagher top the poll for a change…

Glad I read this as the flicking between colour and B&W on here whilst working was in some way hurting my aging eyes 😆
I think it’s time to go back to the default colour now @Roth 😉

Who would you rather have playing out wide left, Scott Sellars or Sam Gallagher ? That old left footer playing on the left and a right footer playing on the right seemed to work ok back then.
Well Sellars is 56 so he might not last 90 minutes but...

Do you know if at the time Brereton signed for Rovers he had the same agent as Mowbray had at that time?
I have read a blog that suggests that was the case.
BBD is represented by Wasserman who also have Charlie Mulgrew & Bradley Johnson on their books.
In January 2017, he was represented by Craig Mather of Simply Sport Management - a local Nottingham-based agency according to this on the FA website...
Mather used to be CEO at Rangers.

Once more it's back to the 1989/90 season & a frankly bonkers match at Ewood that demonstrated in 90 minutes everything it is to support our fine club...
Don't blink though...you'll miss something..

Is he Mowbray's agent? I have no idea who is he or his connection to Rovers. I clicked the link and it looks like he posts a lot of general football stuff.
He is one of the H's in HSH...

If I knew how to share tweets on here, I would. However, Honeyman has just tweeted this half an hour ago:
"The sense of entitlement from some football fans is genuinely frightening!".
I wonder which fans he's referring to here. I also wonder if a certain manager has been moaning to him about how the fans expect too much. "It's not 1995 anymore, Craig, you understand that".
There's no doubt for me that these snakes are keeping an eye on the forum. Honeyman gets called out last night, this morning he tweets the above.

I’m leaving it black like this until we get a team worthy of wearing the shirt.

That Posh manager is doing a great job...didn't he do well at Hull too?

Mowbray told the players after the Coventry game that he would be leaving at the end of the season. I’m not sure why, but he did. Whether that ties in with Paul Mani’s “he’s already signed to be WBA manager” I’m not sure, but it does mean that thankfully we don’t need to put up with him much longer.
It’s ridiculous that he remained in charge after that game in that case…

Cheers for this. The lack of Dack stats confirm what many of us are seeing. He isn’t making loads of mistakes but the games are mainly passing him by
He can only truly (& fairly) be judged after a proper pre-season…we’ve picked him out of necessity & the poor bloke is carrying the weight of our hopes.
