Travis has played what 10 games? He was really good for the first few but beyond that not anything above and beyond. At this point it’s a difficult one through lack of options, imagine it will come down to Graham and Dack but for me Dack has really frustrated since November or so. At one point Nyambe was up there but being dropped set him back

City for me, the Liverpool fans I know tend to be decent types but as a collective they are truly insufferable. The only comfort if they do win it is the likes of Carragher and Gerrard are no longer there to be part of it.

I’ve said for a long time that I don’t think Benny Ben Benningben is the right person to help Raya, and got shot down by Chaddy. Raya has great reflexes but it’s obvious he needs to refine the finer arts of goalkeeping and as good or nice as he may be I don’t see how a 28 year old who hasn’t lived it can help him. You need a keeper who’s been there and done it and bounced back after a howler.

Awaiting the ‘I would renew at any cost and don’t know why everybody else isn’t like me’ post But most likely I’ll be back, my boy turns 8 so there’ll be a decision on if we get him one and stay in the family stand as he just hasn’t got the bug yet.

Mowbrays loyalty and passion for decency potentially undid us along with some inopportune timing. We had our best run of the season and Travis and Nuttall did well enough to assure the manager that they could do a job rather than bring anybody in. With Travis that seems fair but Nuttall is now back to the fringe and would have been best for all if he went on loan and a striker brought in. The fact that money was there but Mowbray wasn’t keen to spend it was odd but I wonder if the fact that Brereton hasn’t been any sort of success yet has made him overly cautious about another expensive spree. A manager that spends more comes under closer scrutiny than one that can claim to have done it on a shoestring
