  1. Rodwell turns up in flip flops at some point I believe
  2. 30 million is not going to happen; I imagine he’ll end up going for the magic £17-£18m price like with Phil Jones . Will wish him all the best as well he’s done his job here and earned it when it comes. Of course would prefer to see him in the top flight with us. I still have some caution about his lastability (not with Essex lady) and for him and us it may be a case of striking when the iron is hot.
  3. He’s decent enough, not something I’m jumping for joy about as not one there was any real risk of losing I bet
  4. Rovers just tweeted a clip of all Corry Evans goals with us - could be a lead up to a contract announcement
  5. The most Phil Jones thing ever
  6. Mahoney will score and kick off 100 pages of debate on here. Then Andy Todd will kick Bishop Dugarry up the arse
  7. In a selfless and heroic move Bolton’s chairman and owner is going to pay the players wages on Friday, just two weeks late and just in time to stop them being able to cancel contracts
  8. I find it slow and I love it for it, tend to play an hour or so at a time and most occasions I don’t do much to further the story just head out and see what happens
  9. The best headed goal I’ve ever seen was scored by me, down at Pleasington when making an appearance for Langho B; sadly it was in the warm up and I don’t think I ever scored a headed goal in my ‘career’ Gally is ok, I had some bitterness to him for his Matt derbyshire moment against Preston but he was quite dynamic in his time here, seems like some of our young lads he’s just had half a season or so wasted but I’d have him back, still rather Joao though (said that in summer as well). It seems likely that a striker will be a target and you have to wonder if Brereton isn’t the player Mowbray was hoping for when he signed, not denying he has potential but I don’t believe we paid £7m hoping for potential.
  10. I remember being fuming as a ten year old at that, Dean Holdsworth, Vinnie Jones and Fashanu and co did it in front of the riverside seemingly to wind us up Was it the replayed fixture when fashanu threw the ball at a ball boy?
  11. Accy game against Sunderland called off after 73 minutes yesterday. Not sure what usual practice is but Andy Holt says tickets not valid for replayed fixture but assume that’s normal as he always comes across as decent as they come.
  12. Really poor to be against 10 men for 70 minutes and not come out with a win especially after getting the breakthrough instantly
  13. I would have liked to have kept Palmer but the writing seems on the wall there, he’s a good player but never going to take Dacks role and he doesn’t seem the type to be too happy playing here and there. Reed leaving would be awful
  14. People won’t be happy - prices double on match day and we don’t like the walk on tax on here! Glad the clubs agreed a sensible price for this
  15. No major issue with him being there but not sure it should be us welcoming a special guest like he’s some dignitary! If I recall he was the one who had the interest in football, wonder if he’s been charged with keeping an eye on things and working with the club
  16. Honestly that strike from Joao is something special!
  17. Dean Henderson made a delightful error today to lose them the game
  18. Superb win, twice they scored and I thought here we go again but we went back at them Their second goal was really odd - their fans didn’t seem to celebrate it then were really flat
  19. A hat trick of strikers goals for Graham!
  20. First goal a stunner but that’s a stinker
  21. Bloody sublime from Conway he deserved that to fly in
  22. Travis coming on he just got a bollocking for not warming up intensely enough
