Boro away 1-0 up against 10 men for 75 minutes - drew Brum at home 2-0 up going into the closing stages - drew 2-2 Leeds away 2-1 up on 90 minutes - lost 3-2 Thats an awful return from those situations even in tough games on paper -

Problem is I never feel we will get back into the game when trailing or even make a decent effort of it, feels defeatist but no faith we will make a game of this -

Nice strike from Rodders a few minutes back -
Merry Christmas guys Wish my son would realise that Santa can only come when he’s asleep for more than 5 minutes I’m getting tired here!

Chaddy isn’t a duplicate account that I know of. Just involved in a lot of bickering and back biting

Great are you trying to make me not like it? -
Nyambes final ball still needs work but the break down the wing and pull back that should have led to a goal in the first half was brilliant. I thought he and Bell looked our most likely route to goal
-
Around me Palmer got abuse when we gave the ball away on the opposite side of the field, moaned at when he won a free kick and every other thing he did. He’s certainly not immune from stick
-
You know what I miss, when 4-4-2 was a thing Let’s all agree to bring it back in fashion
-
Maybe not his fault but he squandered our best chance, Palmer played the right ball to him and we were 3 on 2 and he just dinked it to the keeper
-
I think today was a last chance for Palmer in Mowbrays book and he didn’t take it, his heart or head just isn’t in it.
-
19 or 32, £7m or £100k that was one of the worst cameos I’ve ever seen
-
Palmer was pretty poor when he came on then Brereton came on and made him look like Pele. If we had signed Brereton on a free toy would have had concerns that we paid too much. Without exaggeration every time he got the ball he messed it up today, no strength like a lanky newborn lamb. Abysmal! Result aside a good watch, Bell was much more like the player we saw on his debut and Reed is brilliant. Not a bad result to say we were missing Dack.....what do you mean Dack played?
-
People around me blaming Palmer for things at the other end of the pitch 0-1
-
Brereton been abysmal since he came on like he’s got no power in his legs
-
Really enjoyable game this a proper scrap

I thought Smallwood could have seen red for the tackle but only seen it live, studs looked to be up into the ankle I am at the other end of the ground though

Enjoying this, beautifully filmed and it’s going to be great watching it unfold. Imagine the documentary was planned to be triumphant with their return to the premier league and ended up being a beautiful disaster and better than the production team could have hoped for -
I’m not sure yet but I haven’t been convinced. The thing is if you had the choice to sign him for £7m or walk away in January I bet 90% of us would look elsewhere
-
Under 23s 0-2 up at Arsenal, Lyons with two goals the second sounds a beauty

We aren’t - it seems Mani is offering to fund it himself!

Agree about league 1, we had a shaky start last season but if it wasn’t for Shrewsbury having a freak season then us and Wigan would have absolutely strolled it without always playing that well -

Just seen the goals for the first time, that’s possibly one of the worst pieces of goalkeeping I’ve ever seen, where is his head at there? -

Didn’t go today but within a week that’s two games against fancied opposition, first one we were 1-0 against 10 men for 75 minutes and second we were 2-0 and coasting by the sound of it and have come away with 2 points. Ignoring the ‘would have settled for a point at 3pm’ talk that’s pretty poor and shows a weak underbelly for me
