  1. Anyone use Netflix? Just signed up via Quidco, free for 30 days with no charge if you cancel within the 30 days and if you watch 5 hours worth of content there's £15 cashback. £5.99 a month for unlimited streaming. The UK catalogue is OK but not great but for the 360 at least there are 'workarounds' to access the American catalogue which is gargantuan. Why is it though when you have access to all these films etc your mind just goes blank when it comes to what to watch
  2. May have to call and try that out one lunchtime. Is it anything on the seasonal menu?
  3. I know but I was feeling lazy and wanted some recommendations ha. May try that I am a fan of the food at the Ribble valley inns but somethig similar but different may appeal
  4. Anniversary coming up, was thinking of just going three fishes or clog again but anyone got any recommendations?
  5. Do they have a lunch menu these days or just the normal one?
  6. I don't remember a nanny in the film then again my memory sucks
  7. Limitless was good but the ending was pants
  8. Sandler has outstayed his welcome a bit for me but is ok in small doses. That new one advertised with him as a woman looks like a bad joke you'd see on family guy Watched Pirates 4 last night, love the series but felt some of the new characters a bit weak, the religious guy was just wet and hard to care about. Depp is fantastic as captain jack though what a role he plays
  9. Also that quality doesn't always translate to enjoyment. I love my films but am often bored by Oscar winning efforts, I thought grown ups was fun enough though. Watched true grit a couple of weeks ago which I thought was brilliant and Paul on Friday night which was quite funny with some good in jokes
  10. Big Scottish elephant?
  11. Just been Clogg and Billycock with the Mrs. Once again fantastic food (I just had the bread basket and then chicken breast with chips and garlic and chilli sauce, Nikki had the cauliflower fritters and then cheese and onion pie), it was slow but then again it always will be on a day like today. The cheese and onion pie is exceptional there I must say never tasted any close to it. We were going to get puddings but it was just too hot in there and Arlo was starting to play up.
  12. Watched 2 films tonight: Firstly tucker and dale vs evil thanks nelsta what a fantastic indie film. Secondly human centipede 2, for the first time I recall I have cause to use the word, abhorrent. The first was almost comical in tone this was just sick with its only aim being shock value, some lines that didn't need crossing were crossed
  13. Yeah, I know a bit of Norwegian now, apparently TROOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL means Troll.
  14. Off topic but so sad to hear about a 12 year old from Burnley committing suicide, horrible stuff.
  15. Sorry to hijack, I've never eaten there I feel it would be a bit above my limited palate but menus here http://www.lenclume.co.uk/restaurant.html £69 - £89
  16. Seconded, Glenn and Ste (and those who went before them) should be credited with building a good community here and I know Glenn is keen to build that in the real world.
  17. I think it's a credit to everyone that nobody is trying to speculate here, can we just make sure we keep it that way though. I hate to see twitter and other forums full of theories etc it's just not needed why can't people just have some respect and think about the mans family.
  18. I'm glad nobody here is trying to speculate as to the reasons. I can only imgine what his family are going through now
  19. I can't get my head around this at all. RIP
  20. Finally got round to watching Trollhunter tonight, really enjoyed it, light hearted enjoyment.
  21. Ordered a few films yesterday and got this coming so I'll let you know my thoughts thanks again for the tip
