. The thing is though it’s said the criticism is a sign of a modern fan but I remember Ferguson, Grabbi and Davies being questioned whilst being supported in the stadium. Even Rhodes who delivered the goods. It may not be down to him but the fact is we’ve paid a good chunk of money for him and rightly there is an expectation to deliver based on that. At least the lad has time on his side and when I asked a Forest supporting mate at work he said he was brilliant and they didn’t want to lose him so there must be something there, feel tomorrow could be the day for him

Course you can people do it all the time such as delaying it whilst defending a corner for example. I doubt he would have got it ahead of Dack anyway but I would have had him on it.

What’s more odd about the Palmer sub is it was just as we got a free kick in the same position he scored a beauty in the cup. He should have been taking that for me.

Rothwell looks really dynamic and I like his drive when he gets the ball, problem is it hasn’t quite come off for him yet, does he have any goals or assists in league or cup?

I’ve missed the last two games, just back from holiday, great great win against Leeds followed by what looks like a poor result. Really surprised not to see Palmer involved in either game after being influential against Bolton, something a bit odd there wonder if it’s an attitude thing

Brilliant as always, I often forget bits of the game and reading through brings the incidents back. Rodwell comes out really well from this, better than we probably expected when he signed and when Tony said a week or two back we wouldn’t see him for a while.

From what I’ve seen so far he looks athletic and has a football brain and a range of passing. Pleased he’s here and could become a real asset

My worry isn’t about his ability or lack of it’s that we may have signed a player that just doesn’t fit our approach. Not sure if he’s involved with the England set up this time but if not at least Tony has two weeks to work with him before the next game.
