  1. I preferred the look of the line up for may Dibiase Gargano Steen Golddust (meh) Dreamer (should be good for hardcore match) Plus there's a 30 man rumble which is always a bonus We paid for front row seats so if we enjoy this one we'll be back
  2. Acension was Connor o Brian and Kenneth Cameron, the latter got released after he got arrested. Now Connor o Brian is going by the name the ascension. Ricardo actually wrestled a match under a mask recently as El local, they don't acknowledge him but it was quite funny seeing a little tubby luchadore. Really looking forward to PCW in April, not been before
  3. It's no longer a competition its like a televised developmental territory Big E Langston is the champ with Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey (both English) as tag team champs Matches are usually given time as well
  4. I have some hope for future viewing with HHH at the helm, NXT for me is the best mainstream wrestling show on TV with some super talented guys from the indies mixed with some greener powerhouse types who are actually entertaining. Adrian Neville (formally PAC from Newcastle), kassius Ohno (Chris hero) and the likes of Seth Rollins (formerly Tyler black) have all been given time to shine and El Generico should hopefully debut soon Then you have guys like the Wyatt family which is a fantastic gimmick and a women's division that is given chance to actually wrestle
  5. Heaven forbid I don't take it seriously at all but yes I enjoy watching just like I enjoy watching game of thrones or many things on TV, fiction can be fun
  6. First couple of hours of Max Payne 3 are really good, enjoying it so far
  7. Bearer played a huge part in getting Kane and Taker where they are today when you consider how little either of them ever spoke in the early days Meant to be a really nice guy as well, will be missed I'm going to a PCW event on April 26th Kevin Steen is there along with the million dollar man Ted Dibiase making an appearance.
  8. Think I need to be 100% more banny

  9. I don't even know what this does

  10. Certainly one on my radar for when it hits the magic £17.99
  11. Just bought Max Payne 3 for £4.49 on the games on demand sale on Xbox Been on my hit list for a while and couldn't say no at that price
  12. Ordered a Khyber tonight Whilst the naans were huge and tasty enough everything else was swimming in grease and just tasted really sugary Not good
  13. I found red dead redemption far more fun than any GTA game (well I enjoy GTA games for messing around but can't never force myself through the story) Rdr is still my game of this generation, really got sucked into the story and setting, it helped that the protagonist is an awesome character
  14. Not tried it in its new form but I always thought Quattros that used to be there was the best around, not sure if its the same owners or not.
  15. Finally picked up the witcher 2 for Xbox, never played the first so have no idea what's going on but heard good stuff Credit to the publisher for actually including a proper manual and a decent map with it!
  16. Yeah luck, lust liqour and burn (even the name annoys me ) I love Mexican food so really want to try it, I can just imagine me sat there muttering things about hipsters and generally sounding like a 28 year old going on 60!
  17. I'm going to brave it and try their Mexican restaurant next door soon Reading the website of almost famous makes me angry already though, it seems like they are trying too hard but like I said I keep hearing good things
  18. Been tempted to try almost famous but it sounds a bit too pretentious for my liking
  19. Tang was ok Not quite sure how its got its number one restaurant in Preston status on trip advisor though from what we experienced. The place itself is a little shabby but the food was good just not notably better than most Chinese restaurants. Where it may excel however is they have a selection of more unusual dishes (chicken feet, jellyfish, intestines and ducks tongues etc) The manager was a real gent though, gave us a round of drinks on the house on arrival as our table hadnt been vacated in time by the previous party, to say there was 22 of us that was quite a kind gesture
  20. Good for them but I'm still not seeing the relevance of it, footballers aren't renown for their good taste Tang tonight (rated number 1 Preston restaurant on trip advisor) think ill avoid the ducks tongues and the like and stick to the more traditional fare
  21. Speaking of Tarantino (bit of a stretch here) but I went to see Killing them softly a few months back and really didn't like t, I thought it was trying hard to be Tarantino esque with the long rambling dialogue but it just made the experience particularly dull for me. Went to see wreck it Ralph on Sunday and enjoyed it a lot but not quite as much as I expected to, it's full of charm and brilliant little touches but felt it fell apart just a bit once it reached the meat of the story. Good film but not up to the standard of Disney animation Studios last film (tangled which for me is as good as any animated film in the last 20 or so years even the pixar greats)
  22. To be fair I've never been to Shajan and it been anything but jam packed I know a lot don't rate it but its always been the one I go back to when I fancy a good Indian
  23. Cheers Theno may check out Mitton Hall A quick check seems to show that Shajan got a 5 star rating at its last inspection
  24. This seems to be pushing free publicity and damage control combined with the odd ethical debate in here rather than recommendations now! Still I find this thread as good a resource as any when looking for places to try
  25. Think its in one of those white buildings opposite the debenhams Ramp now
