That's not what Rovers fans have been good at doing over the last 15 years. This is starting to be debated here and on other threads. Something needs to be done though as we can all see the decline at Rovers in every area!

As they have always done! Dividing the fans is not the solution!

Could these strategies be outlined further? I do not think everyone is fully aware of why this would follow.

Out of interest what was the average away fans number for last season. A different supporter started this debate last night by somehow suggesting that paying suppporters were supporting Venky's with the implication that if more stopped going Venky's would leave. Your actual numbers suggest that is unlikely to happen as they are still here. Many supporters in the ground want them to leave. We need a united fanbase whether you attend or not without blame games, unsupported by evidence, being played!

Which is decent considering the last 15 years. Rovers clearly need new owners who care!

While our club is struggling under Venky's the average attendance last season was over 16 thousand minus away fans. Not sure how long it will take for the 'remaining few' to stop going! It will need organised action similar to that at Sheffield Wednesday.

But thousands have already walked away over 15 years. They are still here!

Venkys are not bothered whether you stay at home or give them money! They have still lost quite a bit anyway!

And what are you doing about Venkys? Just sitting around at home?

I cannot speak for everyone but people who I know who go were not 'duped.' After 15 years of this Venky's misrule and shambles it is quite clear the direction the club is going. All supporters need to unite to publicise this and, hopefully, get things to start changing!

See Arbitro's post above for an accurate summary. Just got back and Rovers today were abysmal - maybe the first 15-20 minutes were acceptable. Make no mistake Rovers are in serious trouble if this form continues. The manager worries me as he does not seem to be able to motivate players to play at Championship level! And some supporters meekly clapped the team at the end when they deserved no applause at all! Hopefully we can start to win at home on Tuesday!

There is some logic there. However as over 10,000 season ticket holders plus have already walked away, I doubt a couple of thousand more to follow them will make any difference with Venkys. I do not know what the answer is but the future for this club looks bleak. Even many season ticket holders can see that.

Some of those 'idiots' just want to watch football! Did you renew?

The fans sung the Venkys dont care about me chant a number of times.

But why pay for a new CEO when the new season is still over two months away? 🙂
