Wharton and Phillips are in the same boat I think. These two guys are the future staples of the team. They were suppose to be squad players this year, to be brought in slowly. Phillips played a bit earlier and Wharton has played a bit later. I expect them both to be first names on the team sheet next year and believe that’s the plan. Now if a 25m bid came in the summer for Wharton that might be tough too say no too, too many assets have left on a free in the past two years.

Personally think Dolan is mince, and has no business being in and around a starting lineup for a top 6 side. Harsh, but true. Wednesday was an embarrassing showing. -

Maybe, at least you know he will finish anything that comes into the box. If Dolan can around like a headless chicken and not get close to the ball, I would rather have Dack being lazy and staying on the last man. -

Dolan, deary me, I can’t recall a worse cameo in 35 years watching the game. Couldn’t keep up with the game at all, never got close to the ball. You can send him down to the end of the bench for the rest of the season. Closely followed by the hapless Brereton, when he is good he is great and when he is bad he doesn’t even look like a footballer. Can you get your bloody finger out son and give us something before you head off to the sunset, FOR FREE! With Gally injured and Dolan looking like a 12 year old, benching him isn’t an option. Leonard’s time too shine hopefully Felt sick at the final whistle, played them off the park for 75 mins tonight. Hate the remaining fixtures, that was our chance me thinks and that bloody goalkeeper has stolen it from us. JRC, Wharton, Travis, Hedges all excellent for me. Decent core, need at least two forwards if we have any ambition of getting out of this league. Is Dack back next week? -

Yeah, brereton to the bench please. I’m all done with that level of performance. Absolutely honking. Gallagher, the worst signing we have ever made. Absolute carthorse, but we have known that for years. This club deserves this fall from grace after the scandalous january transfer window. Like someone said before in the thread. We need a fork stuck in us cause we are done. I have seen Coventry a few times in the last few weeks, I predict the final dagger will be Wed. -

I would have had most the bench in my starting 11 to be honest. Coventry will maul us midweek playing like this. -

Some really bad performances out there tonight, it’s no wonder why the rest of the league think we are a bunch of fakes. We had a decent first 10 mins then completely collapsed. We have seen it time and time again, Pickerings lack of athleticism is killing us, against anyone with a drip of pace it’s a bloodbath. Thought he was shocking as he has been most of the season. Carter was wild and rash and didn’t seem to do a thing right tonight JRC too everything he did was wrong. Buckley just MIA from about the 10th min till he got hurt. Didn’t fancy it, couldn’t get around the pitch. Didn’t think sorbs was too bad would have kept him on. Smods and Dolan were mince, absolutely dire. Dolan looked like he was 15 tonight playing in his first game. Gallagher, my god, good header but it was a joke all night. Wed must win, Breo and Britain arguably out two best players start every game. Also hedges needs to start some games and try to regain some form. Play him at the 10 behind the striker, he was decent through the middle earlier in the season. That was about as painful a game as any of our other pastings this year. Referee absolute disgrace. Stoke have a decent squad, no idea what they are doing at the bottom of the league. Gayle, Campbell and Smallbone would be first names on the rovers team sheet. Still in it though.
