Why would JDT agree to come here under those conditions? He seems like an ambitious guy had an offer on the table from Zurich and champions league football to come here with a budget that will only bring in loan players and free transfers? He will know we lost 6/7 players from last season starting line up but will come here with no money to spend and try to replicate or better last season's 8th place finish? It could be argued he might have been promised funds that won't materialize and if that's the case then his tenure will be short-lived imo.But he has to have been given Some assurances to have come here In the first place.He be on a hiding to nothing if he can only bring in frees and loans with the quality we have lost this year

Agree with that ,iv said this already and have criticized the owners and people on the ground over the way the club is run. But we couldn't carry on running the wage bill the way it was.And the amount of money wasted in Pay offs and paying players wages for hardly any contribution was scary. We haven't signed anyone and have lost Nyambe, Lenihen, Rothwell ,Van Hecke and Khadra who all played their part in getting us to second place. We are playing catch-up and if Broughton has gone to Portugal it would be sensible to believe that we ain't about to pull the trigger on bringing anyone in, he will have obviously have gone over to assess what we have at the club. Burnley are being linked with some decent players and Twine if he can make the step up which I think he can is a good start by them. Other rivals are picking up some handy players whilst we have had one half link with a defender from our new managers old club They ain't waiting around to get the players they want in The players we lost from last summer's squad majority of them weren't a miss and went to clubs below us.Armstrong and Elliott aside the rest contributed little. If the club were carrying out the work or have carried out the work that Waggott promised then the club would let it be known. The plan was to have a concert only a few weeks ago and I fail to believe in the timeframe the work which Waggott promised has been done. More money might have been spent and more may have been done but not to the extent what was promised 2 year ago

There should be a deadline not letting it go till the end of their contracts in the hope they will sign. I'm not criticising the club for not giving the players what they wanted but last summer these players should have been given a take it or leave it offer, and if they decided to leave it then they should have been offered around so we could get something for them rather than zero

If the players won't sign new contracts or what they want is beyond us then you try to sell them with 18 months or a year left on their deals. You keep saying they had deals on the table for 2 years well why the hell didn't the club sell them then? It's a club failing that we zero money for them.It isn't the fault of the players.
