We most likely won't get Davies but I very much doubt Liverpool will be loaning him out. Another loan wouldnt make sense.They will want him off their books on a permanent deal.

I'd agree with your second paragraph and it is a worry ,I suppose they could be taking him away and playing him today to try up the compensation we would recieve by claiming he close to first team.Fingers crossed the deal has been done be sickening to lose him for a pittance. Although now he is 17 and the last contract took him too his 17th birthday?Wouldn't that mean he would be out of contract now?

Why would he be playing today if a move was agreed? Not sure Waggott can be blamed if it is the case as he couldn't sign a pro contract till 17

He isn't better than Jones at Boro going off the evidence of last season that's why him going to Boro is odd imo. Plus id agree he is a good RB and he can carry the ball well enough but as a wing back Wilder will want more attacking threat and end product which Jones has. Boro won't be paying him 20k a week when he won't be starting,Jones wont even be on half that

He is good but if he goes to Boro he won't be starting unless they sell Jones. If he is intent on leaving us he should go elsewhere.

Throughout Mowbrays reign second half of season has always been a problem for us with the exception of the league one season. People work his yearly tactics out and then he is too stubborn to move away from them. A lot of those results second half of last season were due to it.Everyone could see Giles was ineffective right side of a 3 but Mowbray knew better. Both Buckley and Rothwell were going through poor form and not once did he try playing Buckley beside Trav and Rothwell further forward. I'm not saying everything is rosy and of course I want new additions it's just my opinion that things ain't as bad as some are making out. And I will stand by what I said earlier that there are 5 or 6 teams in worse shape than us

Agreed and Lenihen told the fella That told me that if our offer had been as high earlier he would have signed the contract with us. He liked the area and does care about the club

He isn't a RB/WB he might have a place somewhere else and impress but he is diabolical in that position

I'm Irish and I have it from someone who knows Lenihen personally the last contract offer that was made would have made Lenihen the highest paid player at the club. 22 grand a week .At that point his mind was made up to join Wilder at Boro.

We don't know how much we have to spend to be fair . If that was true about us bidding for Anel then if that money is available could pick up Brittain from Barnsley for £1.5- 2 million to replace Nyambe. We got Van Hecke on a loan deal last summer who imo is a better player than Lenihen. There will be players available within our price range or on loan that won't be too far away from Nyambe and Lenihen in terms of quality.

Lenihen and Nyambe big losses but they are replaceable. If Dack can get back to anyway how he was pre injury then he will get more goals and assists than Rothwell could manage. 6/7 out of that team I posted were regulars last season.Markanday who is highly rated comes in and Dack who was one of the best in this division pre injury comes in. A centre back(Ayala Is a better defender than Lenihen just can't trust his fitness), a RB and a striker coming into that side and we be no way near relegation.

As it stands our squad Vs Brums, Readings, Blackpool's, Rotherham, Wigan is better. Agreed on JRC

And you think those clubs I mentioned have benches brimming with experience and quality? I'm not saying we don't need new signings but if you believe those other teams I mentioned have better than us then I'd say you haven't even looked at their squads 6/7 of that line up I mentioned played most the games that got us into the top 6 last season
