Good win's for Norwich and Wigan today. -
Thought Brererton did well when he came on and have seen him play well but the manager doesn't trust him to play up front so now finding it a strange signing when we did need another striker. Thought Armstrong played well with a tad more composure he could have had a couple today. Up to fifth, back to back wins we can go into two tough away games with plenty of confidence

Im out getting brekkie now before the game to sum it up he talks about his community service, he is spending time with disabled people a couple of evenings a week.He speaks about the interest in him says he is happy here and it's different as to when he was desperate to leave Gillingham as we are a big club with everything in place to reach the premier league. Doesn't rule out a move in the future, wants to play at the highest level and hopefully that will be with us

Agree on Rothwell and hopefully Mowbray will start playing him regularly

Heckingbottom had a poor time at Leeds (who hasn't)?.Not saying he would get them promoted but he is a good coach had Barnsley playing well and developed a lot of young players at for them. -

Must be the most drawn out takeover in history been imminent for months -
Or he will go into the game with a negative mindset and play the soldiers rather than the artists. Love Mogga and the job he has done but i hope he approaches the game with positivity, we are a much better side when we take the game to the opposition imo. I don't care who we are playing, at home we should be playing our attackers.I feel Mowbray will go for Smallwood and Evans in the middle and either Bennett or Reed playing wide of the 3 behind Graham with the other playing rb.

What type of player is Lyons Parson who would you liken him too?Has Candlin been playing?

Mercer we have been outplayed in 2 games this season, Sheffield United and Derby every other match we have competed well. Lets be realistic the club has not been run well for 7 years,we have just come up from league one and we are sitting 9th in the table on 18 points having played Brentford,Stoke,Derby,Nottingham forest,Villa and Sheffield United all teams you would have expected going into the season to be amongst the teams at the top. I agree performance wise against Sheffield United and yesterday we sat back to much but at end of day we kept a clean sheet. We have a young team its been good start points wise and in a lot of the games we have been good. On Rodwell the athleticism might not be there but his passing was excellent.I watched it on the box and Mowbray was saying in the interview he see's him playing at the back long term ,i thought he was good in midfield until he ran out of steam

That article is taken from a nixon story in the sun -
Yeah it was a lovely goal and it was great play by Palmer, i just prefer Rothwell from what I'v seen of them both. Tough 3 games coming up
-
And Rothwell didn't show magic for the goal? Was a lovely pass. Completely disagree with you on this one if a choice betweem Palmer or Rothwell then id pick Rothwell every week.Palmer has a bit of magic but find Rothwell much more dynamic and more busy
-
Should have taken off Palmer rather than Rothwell in my opinion
-
Nice team, hopefully some good attacking football tonight
-
Some good players on that list but very much doubt we would have got Gallagher for 2 million and he is on 23k a week at Southampton. Iv heard from a couple of people that we did enquire to take Reed on a permanent deal but the player himself still hopes to make it at Southampton.
-
I was asking Mercer a question if it doesn't interest you then skip past it? Fair enough its off topic so il reign it in but pretty obvious i was'nt i wasn't talking about Brererton so no need for your smart arse reply
-
Where have you been?Funny no posts of praise when we were picking up results and playing well? Also be interesting to hear your thoughts on Dack and the fact the club reportedly turned down a deal with West Brom that could have potentially netted the club 15 million?Didn't you say you were 80% sure that Dack would be sold in the summer?
-
Last night's performance was terrible but in the majority of the games we have competed well and given most teams a problem. Let's not be too dramatic,we have still had a decent start to the season, not brilliant but decent.
-
I would have the same team as you.If Mowbray won't play Rothwell in midfield then i would have him wide and Rodwell in the middle alongside Evans. We need something different in the midfield,Evans and Smallwood are too similar, obviously Mowbray thought Smallwood wasn't doing his job last night and took him off and it would send the wrong message to the likes of Rothwell and Rodwell if he sticks with Evans and Smallwood after the game's they both had last night. Id possibly start Williams ahead of Bell, feel he is better defensively and although Bell probably edges him in terms of an attacking threat he isnt doing enough attacking to warrant a starting place.Last night especially first half we had a few opportunities to break away down the left and bring Armstrong into it but Bell's touch was so poor and heavy he ended up just giving the ball back to Sheffield United and leaving us under pressure
-
Exactly so if Rothwell had started then we wouldnt have had to look for Dack all game,Rothwell would have caused them more problems than Armstrong. We also have Palmer who i havent been that impressed with but he has scored 3 goals and has done well in previous loan spells in this Division. We have some creative player's that the manager brought in,its time he started to use them. Maybe if we stopped thinking about the opposition so much then we would have put our own stamp on the game tonight and not made it so easy for the opposition. Sheffield United are a good side yes but lets not act like we were playing Man City.We lost our unbeaten record tonight without putting up any fight at all. Reed was the only player who started tonight that was'nt with us last season. Like i have said i think Mowbray has done a great job but im not going to lie he does do some crazy things and make me scratch my head the mulgrew situation tonight being one of them. If its evans and smallwood together again on saturday il be annoyed
