I'd be worried if we where playing Armstrong as a lone front man with Dack behind. Imo Dack needs to play behind a target man type to get the best out of him.His best attribute in my opinion is feeding off a player who can hold the ball up and pass it off to him with his superb timing of his runs into the box.Dack wouldn't score anywhere near as many goals playing behind a small nippy foward like Armstrong. Agree with others that Armstrong should forget about playing as a front man and learn properly how to play the role we had him in last season.

Don't know much about Bauer but If he is better than Lenihan as I rate Lenihan especially since he moved to the back, then would be a good signing.Do you watch a lot of Charlton and Bauer may I ask or is it a case of you not rating Lenihan?

Wigan looked great against the weaker league 1 opposition but against the better teams not so good so disagree with you saying they looked a championship outfit. We didn't put many teams to the sword but against the better sides we defeated most of them with ease. We should have buried Wigan at Ewood and on another day we would have got the 3 points and won the league in doing so.

I reckon he has been signed to challenge for one of the central midfield spots not as a Dack understudy.In the interview Mowbray talked about him picking the ball up deep and driving foward...from his clips he seems like a decent passer and can spread the play.

I see that Stuart Armstrong from Celtic who Coyle tried to bring here is on the verge of signing for Southampton for 6 million. Don't know too much about Rothwell seems like he is highly regarded and has some talent,his injury record is a bit of a concern though
