Interested to know why you think no chance of Bowler ending up here(if we are actually interested) Seems we have some cash and I don't see a premier league team coming in for him.Be within our wage budget.Forest and Bournemouth interested last season but look to have moved on. Iv never disputed that it would be better to have more signings by now but IF we end up with a few Quality signings by the end of the window then I wont be critical. I think it was a farce how long the process took for the DOF and Management team to be put in place and I think it's legitimate to criticize the owners and board for that but will hold off on any toward Broughton and JDT as they needed some time to assess etc Anyway fingers crossed we can get the 3 points on Saturday and things will start moving on incomings.

I wouldn't be surprised if Brighton made a move With some of the transfer fees paid for some players this summer ,year left on his deal or not Brererton is worth the £15 million a more commercially savvy club will get that fee back by exploiting his popularity in Chile.

If Brererton was a free transfer of course he would have offers from the Premier league. Armstrong was bought last season and Brererton Is a better all round player and has done the buisness at international level. I still think someone will pay the £15 million pre deadline.

Boro have added 3.Goalkeeper, Lenihen and Giles. But even they are struggling.Wilder said priority was to sort out the attack, brought in Balagoun and Connolly last January who have since gone back and even though both didn't do much at Boro Wilder said he wanted 3 attackers and so far none have been brought in.They also got £12 million for Spence.

Yeah but Styles hasnt gone anywhere yet so until he does I won't be ruling him out.

If the squad is the same after the window closes then I'd be critical and would expect bottom half and a struggle. Maybe waiting on an answer on what Brighton are doing with Van Hecke? (I can dream) It frustrating but at the same time if still a chance of getting the targets at the top of list then I'm ok with waiting until closer to deadline.I prefer that than bringing in an inferior player just because they happen to be available right now. True and not sure if your late to this conversation but we are comparing last season's starting line up with what our starting line up is likely to be on Saturday. This time last summer we had made no signings. Signings will be made.Of what quality is anyone's guess but JDT says quality so for now I'm hopeful. But as it stands, with us more or less fully fit we are capable of winning matches in this division.Starting with QPR on Saturday.

Is Lenihen that much better than Wharton and Ayala?I wouldn't say so. Fan of Nyambe myself but think Brittain will be a better fit for us and the style JDT wants to implement Buckley will play where Rothwell was.Buckley will go on to have a better career than Rothwell imo. Dack back semi fit. The squad and positions in the team need upgrading if a play off challenge be on the cards but we ain't in horrific shape.

But players development has to be taken into consideration aswell. Beginning of last season question marks over wether Buckley would settle down and get to grips with the championship.He has and imo think he will look even better playing in the position natural to him from most his appearances underage. Another years experience for Dolan.Wharton 2nd season as a starting Championship player.Carter will have come on after another season playing regular senior football. Markanday comes with a reputation and was clearly rated at Spurs. Dack back semi fit. Vale looks to have something about him.

I can understand to an extent.But some take it too far.Like criticising the club because apparently Hourihane turned down a contract offer here because Derby are more ambitious with that story coming from Mercer nowhere else.Or comments like "Broughton doesn't have any contacts over here" like anyone on here knows what contacts Broughton does or doesn't have. It is realism to recognise it isn't easy bringing in Quality players when you dont have an open cheque book.Boro who according to many are the club we should be looking up to?They haven't added any attackers which they need if they are going to be anywhere near promotion. Again you have no effin idea how far down the line with players we are. So far this summer you guaranteed it would be Adkins or someone of similar ilk who would be the manager.We wouldn't get anyone as good as Nyambe to be proven and different type of player but I'd prefer Brittain especially if it's a possession game going forward.
