  1. Are Spurs even open to letting Parrot leave on a permanent? I read this week that Spurs plan was for him to head out on loan and to whichever club they want him playing as a 9.It was said that at Mk Dons he played more withdrawn with Twine often filling the space ahead of him
  2. Hopefully Brittain on at ht give us some width
  3. He confirmed they had bids for Styles he didn't mention from what club though
  4. Yeah 1 midfielder who is somewhat proven. And I also said that only one IF the coaching team thought Garrett and Wharton were up to it.Obviously If they ain't then 2 would most definitely be needed. If Morton comes in on loan then we have Travis, Buckley, Morton, Garrett and Wharton not enough senior minutes in that 5. JDT has spoken about the championship minutes we have lost and I believe a permanent signing will be made to take Rothwells place. If we only bring Morton in then I think that would be ludicrous
  5. Well no because Glen had it from the Barnsley side. Its not like he has never been on the money before is it? Plus nobody including Glen has said Styles had signed. He fits the profile of the sort of player we would be in for
  6. Good that Dack starts.Hopefully Brittain gets a half
  7. Yeah they made a mess of that final season. Supposedly got a Jon Snow series in the pipeline now set after the events of the final season of thrones
  8. Compare him to Peter White.Sharpe reports after the fact and a lot of his articles are just based on his opinion,no inside scoops. He seems a sound enough fella but that doesn't mean it's wrong to criticize the level of his reporting.
  9. Guesswork and reporting after the fact. Even last week after the Brittain unveiling he ran a story saying we will at least replace the first teamers that left.Clearly got that from the missing stickers. I very much doubt he has any inside sources
  10. It's on the end of his article about Brittain In today's telegraph
  11. Yeah because it's not been on Nixon's Twitter feed yet. He won't know.He had no idea about Brittain
  12. Thought he was on higher than that due to a story I read a while back but just read the same story and the paper suggested it was £25k per week .But yes was never coming here
  13. Exactly why talk of breaking the bank to get Phillips to sign a new contract is ridiculous. Some reckon we should match what a big club can offer, one poster reckoned if spurs or United were to offer him 10k+ a week like they do with other young players then we should match it if we don't want to be the modern day Crewe. Our senior players not on that money would be going crazy ,plus next time a young player breaks through and has interest from a top 6 club when trying to negotiate a deal with him his agent will be pointing at the money Phillips is on
  14. Looking forward to House of Dragons starting in August and The lord of the rings coming in September
  15. All of Snowfall season 5 on BBC iPlayer now for those interested Best show out there for me currently
  16. Sorry but how do you know we didn't or can't? He has worked with Ismael before, European football, new life experience etc
  17. Does it matter what people on here would or wouldn't do? We won't be selling Gallagher to Boro or another championship club
  18. Doesnt help that Besiktas sold their left back for £6 million to Rangers yesterday
  19. What makes you say this?JDT has spoken about our lack of numbers in midfield I would put money on that your wrong. It won't be only Morton
  20. Yes but Tosin was on about 40k a week at the time. His transfer fee affordable but probably due to the fact the contract he was on at City was very lucrative. Wouldn't have had many takers if his fee was much higher than the £2 Million and the buying club had to take on that contract. He had had 1 mediocre spell in the Championship with West Brom and 1 good spell with us
  21. That Gallagher link was first mentioned earlier in the week but t Wilder been saying today that they have agreements in place for 3 premier league forward players but are waiting on the clubs they coming from bringing in signings of their own. Forrs is strongly linked to be one of them.Armstrong probably another
  22. Yeah then he smashed it for Ajax and Dortmund spent big money to bring him to Germany, not long after he was diagnosed with cancer.Good player just didn't work out for him over here. The Italians rave about this guy ,not seen him myself but supposed to be a bit special and has been likened in style to Zlatan
  23. This fella is a number 9 isnt he? I read an article the other day and It was suggesting that it would be Brererton or McNeil they sign to play left of the 3 behind. The article suggested that West ham preferred Brererton. West ham are going to spend a bit before deadline I wouldn't say because they are signing the Italian that they won't be going for another attacking option
  24. Been reading a few articles and Brighton press reckon it was a straight up 3 year deal and he is out of contract next season I'd put money on him leaving if he isn't going to get an opportunity this season. If Potter doesn't fancy him now just don't think it's plausible that he signs a new contract, everything Van Hecke has said in the articles iv read suggests first team football is his primary aim and money is secondary. Van Hecke also said he felt like a Blackburn rovers player. I don't see a premier league team buying him,iv no doubt other championship clubs would be interested but the time he spent here last season could give us the edge. Biggest competition for his signature could come from Germany or Holland. I'm more than likely just dreaming but would be made up if we got him on a permanent deal.
  25. He is 22 not 18/19 he is going to want to know if opportunities are going to come at Brighton. If they ain't giving him an opportunity this season then I can see him pushing to leave. He can get a pay rise along with first team football at another club.
