  1. If true, then absolutely fantastic news.
  2. Was a fantastic save. The lad had a great game but I think he should have kept the winner out.
  3. I’m just delighted that it isn’t Coventry City 😊
  4. Absolutely delighted that Luton have made it and the Coventry goalkeeper and his colleagues are now feeling the pain of a penalty kick defeat, poetic justice 😊
  5. More than anything, I want JDT to stay and be backed. If he goes, if Nathan Jones could recreate what he did at Luton, then I would happily take him.
  6. Never refused to sign a check 😊
  7. Might not be many folk’s cup of tea but I think he is a very good manager.
  8. Luton, Coventry I didn’t mind until recently 😡
  9. Surely he hasn’t signed for the Teeside Curmudgeon, I’m sure he wears ripped jeans 😊
  10. They will definitely fill it, two much bigger towns / cities than Blackburn.
  11. And a trip to the Riverside in recent years has generally resulted in the rare outcome of coming home with 3 points.
  12. And a goalkeeper who comes up with late handball winners 😡
  13. Mods, we really do need a dislike button.
  14. Yep, Gustavo Hamer. Another who cost buttons and plucked from Dutch league.
  15. Yep, should have stated a league match at Kenilworth Road.
  16. We have never, ever won at Kenilworth Road. We were saving it for this year’s play offs but the Coventry keeper had other ideas 😡
  17. I must admit to being very happy that Mowbray / Venus aren’t going to make it, it would have been too much to bare 😊
  18. Yep to a substitute with virtually his first kick and last ever kick for Sunderland 😡
  19. I want Luton, feel hard done by both Coventry and Boro results at Ewood and just couldn’t stomach seeing Mowbray take a team up after his 5 year ‘journey’ with no end at Ewood. Worst thing is, I think we would have been promoted if we had made it last Monday. We were playing well and our luck surely had to turn, they say it evens out 🙈
  20. I found it hard watching today, knowing it should have been us in the play offs and remembering the Teeside Curmudgeon’s lack of emotion and interest these last few seasons 😡
  21. No doubt assisted by being awarded 8 & 7 penalties respectively and of course, a goal scoring keeper. In contrast, only Huddersfield were awarded less than our 2 spot kicks, one of which was after we had already scored a goal. We aren’t a lucky team 🙈
  22. It’s a fair point. I really like JDT and I think that everyone would have taken the seventh place finish and good cup runs prior to a ball being kicked in August. However, despite playing well in most of the late games, we blew it on the pitch. Off the pitch, the inexcusable failure in January failed the manager and ultimately, cost us a play off place. If we lose the manager, I think we have a right problem. Back him and I think that we will be a better team next season.
  23. Only if we keep, and back, the manager. Lose him and I think our club, nevermind team, could be in free fall.
