  1. I am as hurt as anyone with consistently getting turned over at home, especially when we have played well. Notwithstanding, I think JDT is a magician to have us where we are in this league and generally competing with teams with massive financial and squad depth advantage over us. If he had the same backing as Mowbray got, I am certain he would have us promoted.
  2. He’s way off the pace at the moment but I saw some physicality and endeavour. In my opinion, we looked more threatening with him on the pitch than Harry Leonard.
  3. Why we didn’t give it a try this season, after he ran us ragged and given our financial circumstances, is both unfathomable and inexcusable.
  4. They were out on their feet on Tuesday but fortunately we managed to see it out. We will do very well to finish in the top half and I agree that where the club goes from here is extremely worrying, especially when we lose JDT. Depressing !
  5. Brilliant, that’s 1,500 extra bodies on Ewood. Let’s hope they see a Rovers win.
  6. That one was inevitable after their recent results. I should see him out walking the dog a bit more now as he lives very close to me.
  7. Just sent over £50, hope it helps.
  8. Used to love seeing Bailey and Kevin Hird marauding down the flanks. Being such an attacking full back, surprising that Bailey scored so few career goals.
  9. Just hoping that Mercer can cheer us all up by announcing Akor Adams 😊
  10. The two potential penalties have been discussed a bit. Personally, I thought there was a third, when Leonard appeared to be brought down in the first half 🤷‍♂️
  11. Despite not being able to agree, I think that both you and Arbitro post a lot of sense. Like Arbitro, I think the football we are playing under JDT is generally very easy on the eye and we did ok today but never looked like winning or taking a point, final third was very poor.
  12. Couldn’t agree more. Losing at Ewood hurts like hell but without JDT, I really think we would be in the thick of a relegation fight. With the cards he has been dealt, he is performing minor miracles.
  13. Absolutely horrendous weather this morning in the Ribble Valley, I imagine we are all going to get very wet down Ewood.
  14. Fair point, we don’t know whether or not a release clause was included in the original contract. I think it is unlikely given that was before he really had a profile and the fact that he is a Blackburn lad and Rovers is his club. I would be amazed if there isn’t a release clause within the new deal but you’re right, I would imagine it probably is well in excess of the £15m level, I bloody hope it is.
  15. A racing certainty that a release clause is embedded within the contract but I imagine it is at a decent level, at least £15m is my guess.
  16. I wonder whether the young B team winger who came on at Ewood has made many appearances to date. Would have loved him here on loan, was unplayable that day.
  17. Well deserved. Unspectacular but very solid performer, lacks a bit of pace but dependable Championship level left back.
  18. Absolutely loved, Scott. Scotty, Scotty’ beam us up
  19. Equally , potential to win, that is the Rovers way !
  20. Definitely, I think he loves the club, players, area and fans but can’t abide the idiots running the club.
  21. Reading their requirements from a new boss, JDT would be at the top of their list !
  22. I don’t think he did a bad job up there but he was lucky to get the local gig in the first place and no doubt walks with a big cheque.
  23. Didn’t do much last season but he scored for Hull and England U21’s recently. Moran will be the one on his way at the end of this season.
  24. He’s a passable full back but can’t play the advanced role, especially on the left side. Whichever role he plays, he has zero appetite for the rough stuff, he’s plain soft.
