  1. We still don’t, the conjecture is somewhere between 12.5% and 20%. Probably the former but SWAG seemed very happy with himself declaring it the highest sell on % he had agreed or even heard of 🤷‍♂️
  2. You don’t ever get the deal detail, I would be absolutely staggered if there wasn’t a sell on clause within any sale agreement that might be reached.
  3. Wherever you take him, the notorious Sylvester and Admin team will be somewhere else 😂
  4. https://www.instagram.com/p/C2Z9j60oVoW/?igsh=d3hhNmE1enNhdW1y I know this is the wrong thread but as it is currently the most active, I thought I would post this re: BBD and Sheffield Utd. Why on earth was our commercial team / SWAG not capitalising on this 🙈
  5. Less than 18 months since I saw him make his debut at Blackpool. I really want the lad to stay but this is Blackburn Rovers 2024, he loves the club but aside from that what football or financial incentive is there for him to stay. This is what Venkys and Swag have done to our once proud club.
  6. I met him down at Brockhall, just after he signed. He towered over me, I’d have him as minimum 6ft 3 / 6ft 4 so certainly tall enough and much taller than Pears.
  7. I can understand the sentiment but he’s still the best CF at the club, by some distance. Just let that awful fact sink in 🙈
  8. These results, and recent performances are really hurting. I am still fully behind JDT, I think he has an almost impossible job given the restrictions placed on him by the owners and Swag. IMO we are now seeing the chickens coming home to roost as injuries and an extremely thin and inexperienced squad have contributed to us hitting the proverbial wall. Notwithstanding this, I believe the least we deserve from the team on the pitch is endeavour, fight and never say die attitude and with this, most of the players are falling short in spades. Things need to change and quickly, if not JDT may be gone but had he been backed, even moderately in comparison to the Teeside Curmudgeon, I am certain he would have taken us to at least the play offs.
  9. Not in a hundred years. I don’t blame JDT, he has been hung out to dry by the owners and Swag the Incompetent.
  10. I posted this a few weeks back. Poor playing on the wing, average defender but very soft, doesn’t like the physical stuff.
  11. At least you didn’t travel Jim and so we can’t blame your presence / away record.
  12. I am as hurt as anyone with consistently getting turned over at home, especially when we have played well. Notwithstanding, I think JDT is a magician to have us where we are in this league and generally competing with teams with massive financial and squad depth advantage over us. If he had the same backing as Mowbray got, I am certain he would have us promoted.
  13. He’s way off the pace at the moment but I saw some physicality and endeavour. In my opinion, we looked more threatening with him on the pitch than Harry Leonard.
  14. Why we didn’t give it a try this season, after he ran us ragged and given our financial circumstances, is both unfathomable and inexcusable.
  15. They were out on their feet on Tuesday but fortunately we managed to see it out. We will do very well to finish in the top half and I agree that where the club goes from here is extremely worrying, especially when we lose JDT. Depressing !
  16. Brilliant, that’s 1,500 extra bodies on Ewood. Let’s hope they see a Rovers win.
  17. That one was inevitable after their recent results. I should see him out walking the dog a bit more now as he lives very close to me.
  18. Just sent over £50, hope it helps.
  19. Used to love seeing Bailey and Kevin Hird marauding down the flanks. Being such an attacking full back, surprising that Bailey scored so few career goals.
  20. Just hoping that Mercer can cheer us all up by announcing Akor Adams 😊
  21. The two potential penalties have been discussed a bit. Personally, I thought there was a third, when Leonard appeared to be brought down in the first half 🤷‍♂️
  22. Despite not being able to agree, I think that both you and Arbitro post a lot of sense. Like Arbitro, I think the football we are playing under JDT is generally very easy on the eye and we did ok today but never looked like winning or taking a point, final third was very poor.
  23. Couldn’t agree more. Losing at Ewood hurts like hell but without JDT, I really think we would be in the thick of a relegation fight. With the cards he has been dealt, he is performing minor miracles.
  24. Absolutely horrendous weather this morning in the Ribble Valley, I imagine we are all going to get very wet down Ewood.
