  1. Just sent over £50, hope it helps.
  2. Used to love seeing Bailey and Kevin Hird marauding down the flanks. Being such an attacking full back, surprising that Bailey scored so few career goals.
  3. Just hoping that Mercer can cheer us all up by announcing Akor Adams 😊
  4. The two potential penalties have been discussed a bit. Personally, I thought there was a third, when Leonard appeared to be brought down in the first half 🤷‍♂️
  5. Despite not being able to agree, I think that both you and Arbitro post a lot of sense. Like Arbitro, I think the football we are playing under JDT is generally very easy on the eye and we did ok today but never looked like winning or taking a point, final third was very poor.
  6. Couldn’t agree more. Losing at Ewood hurts like hell but without JDT, I really think we would be in the thick of a relegation fight. With the cards he has been dealt, he is performing minor miracles.
  7. Absolutely horrendous weather this morning in the Ribble Valley, I imagine we are all going to get very wet down Ewood.
  8. Fair point, we don’t know whether or not a release clause was included in the original contract. I think it is unlikely given that was before he really had a profile and the fact that he is a Blackburn lad and Rovers is his club. I would be amazed if there isn’t a release clause within the new deal but you’re right, I would imagine it probably is well in excess of the £15m level, I bloody hope it is.
  9. A racing certainty that a release clause is embedded within the contract but I imagine it is at a decent level, at least £15m is my guess.
  10. I wonder whether the young B team winger who came on at Ewood has made many appearances to date. Would have loved him here on loan, was unplayable that day.
  11. Well deserved. Unspectacular but very solid performer, lacks a bit of pace but dependable Championship level left back.
  12. Absolutely loved, Scott. Scotty, Scotty’ beam us up
  13. Equally , potential to win, that is the Rovers way !
  14. Definitely, I think he loves the club, players, area and fans but can’t abide the idiots running the club.
  15. Reading their requirements from a new boss, JDT would be at the top of their list !
  16. I don’t think he did a bad job up there but he was lucky to get the local gig in the first place and no doubt walks with a big cheque.
  17. Didn’t do much last season but he scored for Hull and England U21’s recently. Moran will be the one on his way at the end of this season.
  18. He’s a passable full back but can’t play the advanced role, especially on the left side. Whichever role he plays, he has zero appetite for the rough stuff, he’s plain soft.
  19. Will depend on results against Leeds, Bristol and Saints.
  20. It sounds very typical Blackburn Rovers, even with a great coach at the helm, we never seem to turn up for these type of matches.
  21. We have needed a Sam Morsy type for years.
  22. I wonder whether this result will reignite Sympathetic Claret and Longsider’s interest in BRFCS 🙈
  23. I’m have to agree, every time a real opportunity arises or the pressure is on, we never seem able to deliver. Any team on a horrific run or at the bottom of the league playing the Rovers, it feels like there is only ever one outcome.
  24. Yep, was also there, think David Mail got a penalty. Travelling back to London on train, Chris Sulley joined us for a few beers and then, a few more at the Thwaites pub near the Caledonian Road. Great times indeed.
