  1. Just look at the usual debacle of season ticket promotion, pricing and timeline of availability. I still can’t believe that season tickets, not just for the next season but for 3 and 5 year commitments weren’t promoted, available and priced sensibly that May Day when we beat Oxford United in front of a near capacity Ewood, the largest assemble of Rovers fans present since the celebration night after winning the EPL at Anfield. Any other competent business would have seen this as a springboard and pulled out all the stops, a generational opportunity missed 🙈
  2. He has done his level best with the interviews to accept the criticism and responsibility, whilst at the same time looking to draw in sympathy and suggesting mitigating factors. In doing so, his narrative does nothing to support, the already very slim prospect of a successful appeal. His last point, once again suggests that they were never really interested in giving the play offs our very best shot, where is the aspiration and driving ambition and the drive to take opportunities as and when they present. Rich Sharpe, I bet he wishes he hadn’t committed his thoughts to paper, was right that they weren’t focussed on the play offs. FFS
  3. The pie eaters effectively relegated us from the EPL and we seem to have struggled badly against them ever since.
  4. The EFL have a FFP regulatory structure, if breached there are potential consequences and sanctions. Many aspirational and promoted clubs appear to have drawn a coach and horses through this with little or minor consequence, QPR, Bournemouth and currently Sheffield Utd come to mind. The EFL are definitely not there to interfere with the decisions and financial affairs of a commercial business save for auditing for compliance with their FFP regulations over the relevant reference period, which I think is 3 years.
  5. Great letter and I think all with the interests of the club at heart would share your concerns and fully endorse your points.
  6. Broughton was at Brockhall, not B’ham and yet they still buggered it up
  7. What has happened twice before, if we have failed to get players registered on deadline day before then it hasn’t been made public
  8. Why don’t you make an effort and get down there to play your part 🤷‍♂️
  9. They must have messed the paperwork up rather than being late with it. If there was a risk of the latter, just put the deal sheet in to secure another couple of hours to get all sorted.
  10. Just listened to Cooper on Radio Lancashire, he’s livid and clearly sees Rovers as being unprofessional and letting their player down. Scathing
  11. One would like to think so, in the face of adversity. I would love us to stick together, pack out Ewood, support our team and show the world that we are still here, loyal and standing despite all the shit we have had thrown at as over the next 12 years. However, the reality is that we are largely broken and many fans will decide to throw the towel in and sadly, they can hardly be blamed.
  12. That is negligence, what about getting the deal sorted and then getting some tea, FFS 😡
  13. A great letter, befitting a legal eagle. Maybe they should have had you in by way of the external legal advice, someone with the legal expertise and a deep and emotional connection and incentive to get it right.
  14. A very good point and one that needs clarifying in due course by Swag
  15. Wow, had no idea about this. Clearly shows what a charlatan Swag is
  16. I live 10 minutes from Brockhall and retired from running a £120m EBITDA entity with thousands of jobs either employed or dependent on the business. I would seriously think about helping out.
  17. I am in two minds as to whether we should seek a total boycott of Monday’s match or everyone with Rovers at heart, buys a ticket and get down to support our team and vent our spleen towards the incompetents. JDT and the players wearing our shirt have done nothing wrong and deserve our backing in solidarity.
  18. Why would the club agree to an FA Cup replay being scheduled on transfer deadline day. What was wrong with Wednesday, the day after all the fun was over (or at least meant to be)
  19. I clocked that as well, they can’t even put together a well worded, grammatically correct statement, FFS
  20. Yep, really feel for him. It is really quite disgraceful and heaven knows what he thinks about this 😡
  21. I can’t begin to understand it, but I am amazed by your capability to remain pragmatic and calm about a very emotional matter. To me, it is equivalent to Nero fiddling whilst Rome burns.
  22. I don’t want to be dramatic but I really do fear this could be a defining moment and the last straw for many long suffering and loyal fans
