  1. How to write ‘The Comprehensive Guide to Non-Delivery of Incoming Transfers’
  2. Not having a go at the individual but given the recruitment delivery, or should I say non-delivery, I’m not sure what they have to be proud about 🙈
  3. Not when we were robbed by George Courtney at Selhurst Park in May 1989 second leg play off and yes, I’m still bitter about it 😊
  4. I saw him on his debut at Blackpool, it was clear to a blind man that he was a special talent. I have no idea why the big clubs weren’t knocking the door down in January but the crying shame is that he was literally forced out the club he loves. If they had backed JDT in January 23, we may well have seen him blossom in the Premier League in the famous blue and white, shame on you Pune, shame on you Swag.
  5. He got a nice one against Millwall at the New Den when we won but managed to avoid the playoffs 🙈
  6. Victor Johansson, the Rotherham keeper has signed for Stoke. Would have been a really good No 1 for us, a massive upgrade.
  7. On the bright side, he’s not making much on the goals bonus ☹️
  8. We did but we wouldn’t take that now and little Oxford United did. Makes you want to weep 🙈
  9. It is also at risk if no one buys ST or attends, we are between a rock and a hard place and it is a horrible place.
  10. Oxford United sold 30,000, just let that sink in ! We are perhaps the only team in the country that is defying gravity on attendances, upwards everywhere save for Blackburn, Lancashire. Shame on you Venkys / Swag, the axis of evil.
  11. Do we know which player ? I watched them demolish MK Dons in the play offs and the midfielder, Liam Kelly looked a very good player. Nonetheless, the point you make is well made, what have they done to our once great club, heart breaking.
  12. From observation alone, her feedback would seem to corroborate my thoughts re: JDT, JE and Greg the 🥚
  13. They didn’t get on, Swag reported that Broughton was totally out of his depth and we all know for an absolute fact, that Swag is out of his depth and has been drowning our once great club since the day he darkened our door.
  14. I’m so glad that Notlob lost but in truth a lot of it is envy, just look at the state of our club these days compared to that lot down the road. It’s like night and day and judging by the comments on this page from lost and current ST holders, it looks like renewal numbers will be horrendous. We, the fan base aren’t to blame but to the outside world, we are going to be seen as the pariah town with the apathetic local population not supporting its football club, like other similar areas, back to Notlob ! Take a bow, Pune and Swag, you have destroyed our once great club and brow beaten our local populace and wider supporter base to a shadow of its former self.
  15. I’m not sure that we had any chance whatsoever of securing the Championship in February. Leicester only managed to do that in the last week of the season !
  16. We could, and should, have sold thousands of ST’s around the time of the Oxford Utd match, even multi-season packages, if only they had been on sale !! We still had to wait at least 4/5 weeks for prices to be fixed and sales begin, Swag couldn’t take an opportunity even when knocking on his door.
  17. That one sounds like a friendly reporter friend of the egg, putting a positive spin on things.
  18. I have it from a very reliable source, almost from the horse’s mouth, that both McFadz and Fleck were personally dealt with by Waggott. Players he knew and Broughton had already been sidelined.
  19. I just can’t understand why there wasn’t significant and competing interest from elsewhere, which would have helped drive the price. It was clear to all of us who watched him regularly and obviously Dougie Friedman but why were City / Liverpool / Newcastle etc blind to such a talent.
  20. They are absolutely clueless, Swag is nearly 70, I just pray that he has decided now is the time to go. Let’s face it, he has made more bad decisions in his relatively short tenure, than folk in authority at Ewood for the 70 years before him !
  21. Spot on historically Abbey but they have rekindled their supporter base with business sense, cheap tickets and relative success. Comparing Notlob now, a team that was going bust just a few short years back and our club, which is on the canvas after 14 hard rounds, is truly heartbreaking.
