  1. Will the last one out, turn the lights off 🙈
  2. I really liked JDT for a number of reasons and I also think Eustace is a good manager. At any normal functioning club, I think both would be more than capable of delivering a promotion but this is Venky’s Blackburn Rovers.
  3. Plenty of time to settle in and exit before the summer window opens and on we go……..
  4. Today’s statement from the club thanks John Park for his ‘dedicated service’, you couldn’t make it up ! They will now begin the process of recruiting for the role, wake up you have had 4 in the role and it would appear that no one is prepared to stay amidst the madhouse of the Venky infected Blackburn Rovers.
  5. Fantastic post, I couldn’t agree more, spot on and a absolute statement of fact.
  6. Suhail P in command these days, SWAG just doing player contracts and picking up his nice booty. No idea as to where this all ends, shameful.
  7. How long do we put up with this, our club is getting dismantled year by year, on the pitch we might still be in tier two but off the pitch, non league clubs would put us to shame. No wonder there is so much apathy within the rapidly declining fan base, less and less of which continue to gather at the Ewood morgue. Just so heart breaking 😞
  8. Knowing Rovers and John Park !
  9. I agree he played well today, except when it came to finding the final pass, getting a shot away and as a result, missing good chances.
  10. Think this 20 minutes crucial to our season. Hold 🙏
  11. Be surprised if we take a point now.
  12. JRC’s first contribution, idiot !
  13. Must admit that I couldn’t really understand why he didn’t collect the ball with both hands rather than using the one hand to parry away when he came racing off his line with the striker coming through.
  14. Played some really good stuff but once again, just not clinical enough. A fantastic team goal but we should have this game safely in the bag but for missed chances.
  15. Travis should have buried that one.
  16. Cracking goal that, thought we had overplayed again when Cantwell put the ball into Travis but what do I know 😂
  17. Travis had to be quicker there on the transition, we are always far too slow.
  18. Damian Duff has a bit of the Roy Keane about him, he doesn’t suffer fools and as such, he wouldn’t come within 100 miles of the club in its present guise.
  19. He would probably offer as much goal threat from there.
  20. He would have the same bag of shit to work with, on the executive side and the playing side that JDT and Eustace have. Anyone coming in here, has a reyt old bag of shit to work with.
  21. It isn’t looking good, strikers generally need an early goal at their new club and unfortunately, it hasn’t happened for Gueye. The first few games looked promising but since Burnley, it has just gone downhill and now, off the cliff ! A real pity that he didn’t bag that one last night, it could have been the monkey off his back and seen confidence high and more goals to follow but rather than a relief valve goal, the burden is now almost intolerably heavy. It certainly feels like Chris Brown II but I think we have little option but to persevere and just hope, he scored goals at Oostende and although it didn’t work there either, Zaragoza must have seen something to sign him up. Just pray that somehow he gets one soon 🙏
  22. I really worry about the future of our club. Everything about it is broken. The Ewood experience, as a supporter of over 50 years, is getting worse and worse and I’m not even taking into account the fare being served up on the pitch ! The crowds are now pitiful, there is no atmosphere, no rousing support from the half empty BBE and just no sign of this being turned around, despite the winning streak prior to the last two results. I don’t blame the manager, I thought we played well last night but once again, poor players missed important chances. Unless we can move in an entirely different direction with new owners to give hope and some renewed enthusiasm from attending and non attending dormant supporters, we will continue in ever increasing existential crisis and our club staring into the abyss. The reported fact that we have just 4,000 Adult ST holders left should have us all extremely worried for our club. It is very much a 2 way street but pride in our club works both ways and our life blood has now been drifting away for 15 years and that is the real symptom of the Venky disease.
  23. I thought we played well tonight, there was no lack of effort but somehow we contrived to miss chance after chance and Stoke, who were really poor, got very lucky. I actually felt sorry for the Manager and players tonight, we deserved much more.
