Whilst I can see O’Brien being happy to come and play competitive championship football, I just don’t see any circumstances under which he would have agreed to a permanent arrangement as he is probably only six months into a 3 / 4 year contract at Forest. He has the luxury of seeing the season out and then taking decisions then, on a no risk / just upside basis
