I live 10 minutes from Brockhall and retired from running a £120m EBITDA entity with thousands of jobs either employed or dependent on the business. I would seriously think about helping out.

I am in two minds as to whether we should seek a total boycott of Monday’s match or everyone with Rovers at heart, buys a ticket and get down to support our team and vent our spleen towards the incompetents. JDT and the players wearing our shirt have done nothing wrong and deserve our backing in solidarity. -

Why would the club agree to an FA Cup replay being scheduled on transfer deadline day. What was wrong with Wednesday, the day after all the fun was over (or at least meant to be) -

I clocked that as well, they can’t even put together a well worded, grammatically correct statement, FFS -

Yep, really feel for him. It is really quite disgraceful and heaven knows what he thinks about this 😡 -

I can’t begin to understand it, but I am amazed by your capability to remain pragmatic and calm about a very emotional matter. To me, it is equivalent to Nero fiddling whilst Rome burns. -

I don’t want to be dramatic but I really do fear this could be a defining moment and the last straw for many long suffering and loyal fans -

There is some validity within this but Matty Blue’s subsequent post is the bigger picture and nail on head evidence as to our club’s sad demise. -
Was travelling and so probably missed it, no surprise but very disappointing. If they don’t listen about ST pricing, and take a leaf from other local club initiatives, I really fear they are going to have a real problem for next season. I love the club and so really hope that my fear is misguided and that numbers can be maintained or even increased, we need to ensure the club remains for future generations.

Glen, did you ever get your subsequent meet with Swag ? -

You can argue this and there is some truth and correlation with our core 80’s support but the game has moved on and virtually all clubs, in the modern era, appear to have significantly increased average crowds. Given that we won the EPL and spent many years in the top flight and that we were well on our way to being a club with national support, our decline has been pretty spectacular. -

Are you being serious ! Our season ticket sales, the bedrock of support are awful and reducing in comparison to all around, Accrington, Knob End, Notlob, Dingles. All face the same macro-economic / deprivation demographics but are increasing numbers, whilst Swag continues to try and rinse the few and loyal fans that remain. Absolutely criminal and killing our club. -

Don’t let these transient chancers, with no emotional attachment to our club, take it away from us. -

Not doing too bad to date, ST holders down to 8,500 and the morgue like atmosphere that pervades Ewood. They are well on their way to killing us all off 🙈 -

I have to agree, it all seems very odd. Whilst I can see O’Brien being happy to come and play competitive championship football, I just don’t see any circumstances under which he would have agreed to a permanent arrangement as he is probably only six months into a 3 / 4 year contract at Forest. He has the luxury of seeing the season out and then taking decisions then, on a no risk / just upside basis
