  1. Like many, I tried and tried the protest route but folk wouldn’t listen.
  2. I genuinely share your same pain. Horrible seeing the slow and painful demise of our once proud and great club.
  3. He’s taken a very lucrative contract, who can blame him, but not a top level player.
  4. Perhaps the Teeside curmudgeon isn’t Mr Wonderful at all 😊
  5. I agree, think he would be perfect but might have better options than Rovers. Does he not get on with the Scouse mafia at Dumpdale ?
  6. I think there is a good player in Hedges. However, he is far too inconsistent and his decision making is very questionable and as a result, chances go begging. At Deepdale, he changed the game second half but then totally fucked it up at the end, stupid penalty the other night and he doesn’t score enough goals or convert guilt edged chances, Plymouth and Leicester were genuinely harder to miss the target than score.
  7. Having given this one some thought, I think this is the best possible answer. Let’s make life easy for him, save him the trouble of opening up the JW as well and with a little bit of work this would be a national media story.
  8. That sounds perfect. I don’t think snow is forecast but if it was…….
  9. I couldn’t agree more. Give something away that costs you nothing, creates an atmosphere, backs the team with the hope that it might generate incremental future ticket / ST sales. Absolutely nothing to lose but the idiot chooses to alienate thousands more. You really couldn’t make it up 🙈
  10. Get yourself back posting regularly Abbey, you are dearly missed.
  11. He is the best coach we have had since Hughes, if we don’t succeed, it won’t be down to JDT.
  12. I think Hyam has been really poor recently and although Carter hasn’t been at his best, I still think there is a good player there. If Scott Wharton is ever going to get a chance to claim a shirt again, it is now. Dolan is not for me and Markandy looks like a really decent prospect, very tidy but unfortunately, hasn’t got the raw speed we desperately need. I can’t understand why they didn’t take heed from the Girona friendly and sign up their young winger, who doesn’t get a game at senior level.
  13. The only positive I can take, they will be travelling back in comfort in the Options coach ! Spoke to Leo W down Brockhall, he said that he would need to be patient and I told him that he wouldn’t need to be too patient, he think he will now have the shirt going forward.
  14. We need a second half response, absolute minimum. A Millwall repeat would be perfect but seeing that we only come from behind once every Preston Guild, I’m not getting my hopes up 😡
  15. Hirst goal today was absolutely inevitable, FFS 😡
  16. Largely agree with this, we usually beat ourselves. I have a number of Tractor Boy friends having lived in Suffolk for a few years, they have been riding their luck. Hopeful and praying but still fearful about today’s result.
  17. Unbelievable, but then again it being Swag, probably not 🙈 At the Girona match, they couldn’t even get the playlist selected by fans and personally delivered by the Trust, sorted !! Apparently they lost it 🤷‍♂️
  18. Standing next to a couple of scousers, turned out to be Edmondson’s Dad & Grandad, nice to see their reaction and pride when he slotted home the eighth goal. Looked a good prospect, as did most of the young lads, all motivated, enthusiastic and wearing the iconic blue and white with pride.
  19. Must admit that you are spot on with your observation. I really enjoyed the evening as did all the Rovers fans present but it felt like a friendly atmosphere, just polite applause rather than vocal support, a bit surreal.
  20. The irony is there ingrained hate of Blackburn Rovers and laughable ‘plastic’ fan tag.
  21. Lived in Preston for many years, difficult to find Nobber who doesn’t ‘also’ support Liverpool, Utd or nowadays, Shitty.
  22. Hopefully the win cheered him up and provided some upside to the ridiculous viewing fee. Best wishes to roverandout Snr.
  23. He missed a few but always involved and in right place, think he will get plenty of goals for them.
  24. I always liked him as the EFL pundit and think he has a bright future as a manager. He’s got Hull playing some good stuff and brought some decent players in, I think they will have a decent season.
  25. To be fair, I haven’t seen it on the tv highlights yet. At the game, I just saw the lad clean through and expected him to put it away, which sadly, he did and at the time, I wasn’t looking at Pears just bemoaning the hopeless lack of elementary defending.
