  1. It beggars belief anyone can look at their time as owners and not see they are entirely to blame for where we are now.
  2. Australia all out for 286. I think we’ll be all out for around 150.
  3. A £billion league sounds very very ambitious.
  4. Twisted Sister - We’re Not Gonna Take It
  5. Great stuff! My first game was Rovers vs Liverpool in the PL winning season. I’d just moved up north to go to college - a decision which was based solely on football 😁
  6. What was the very first game you went to?
  7. Giving us the best chance to win games and to get promoted. I know this, you know this, unfortunately those in charge either don’t, or don’t give a fuck (I’m sure we both know which of these it is too).
  8. I imagine they’d sell anything of value and then ‘worry from there’. Whatever they do, none of it will be with the club’s best interest in mind.
  9. Carly Simon - You’re So Vain
  10. You’ll have to ask someone more intelligent than me to explain that as I don’t know either.
  11. @K-Hod - you liked one of these and not the other - you’ve some explaining to do 😁😁 Girls Aloud - Sound Of The Underground
  12. Two teams who played 2 up front last season were Luton and Sheffield United.
  13. Adam And The Ants - Stand And Deliver
  14. From the BBC… England Test captain Ben Stokes says he will undergo surgery after the World Cup to address his ongoing knee issue. The 32-year-old's knee has been a long-term problem, with the all-rounder unable to bowl and playing only as a batter during the World Cup in India. They return to India for a five-match Test series, starting on 25 January, but Stokes says he hopes to be fit. "There was a lot of time put into deciding when to get it done," said Stokes. "Obviously the India Test series which we start at the end of January, I should be fine to go by then." My thoughts are the time to have got this done was immediately after the Ashes - yes that would have meant missing the World Cup but he was supposed to be retired from ODIs anyways. Whilst I’m having a moan - it’s batsman not batter -maybe it shouldn’t but that properly gets on my tits.
  15. So a mid table Championship team playing away from home averaged under 6/10 and yet Chelsea could only win by two. 🤔
  16. Are you sure you didn’t mishear her 😁
  17. Winning games should take priority over everything else. Winning games will automatically lead to other clubs looking at our players.
  18. The question is has he decided he’s happy with this or will he be off as soon as any half decent alternative is offered to him.
  19. I was going to add the ‘if Mowbray had said that’ part but then I thought it was better to steer clear 😁 As you say, it isn’t JDTs fault but he’s running the risk of becoming complicit in the plans of those above him.
  20. It’s the idea our playing style is based on what other clubs want rather than what’s best for us that annoys (I could use much stronger words) me the most. I hope I’m just misinterpreting what he said but I fear I’m not.
  21. If nothing else, the Pears vs Wahlstedt ‘argument’ seems much closer than the Pears vs Kaminski one should ever have been.
  22. I think it’s far more likely these fans would link having to sell players with the decrease in our crowds - I’d be amazed if anything ever leads to them blaming the owners.
