  1. https://www.efl.com/-more/governance/efl-rules--regulations/efl-regulations/section-6---players/ clause 47.3.1
  2. The deal sheet only confirms that negotiations have been concluded (and the fee if applicable) prior to the deadline. I’ve no idea if we submitted one of these or not.
  3. Surely to be ‘within reason’ it needs to be within their own regulations? Otherwise all clubs would have to second guess what would have to be included in any deal
  4. I think people are surmising it based on IF the ‘what if we’re relegated’ reason is the real reason. Of course, as you say, none of us know if this is the reason or not - there’s every chance we never will!
  5. Business to Business and Court of Arbitration for Sport (I assume) Beaten to it…
  6. But their own regulations don’t insist on this clause
  7. I agree with that but would add I think some fans would return under different ownership/senior management whether that meant a successful team on the pitch or not
  8. I very nearly ‘came back’ after the Oxford United game - but the price of tickets was a bit too much for me. I still follow Rovers very closely but I’ve found other things to do with my time - maybe this makes me a bad fan but I’d need to see some significant improvements (I don’t mean on the pitch) to ‘revert’ that time (and money) back to attending matches.
  9. I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch) - The Four Tops
  10. This is the standard form of contract that has to be used - it’s the Premier League one but is the one referred to in the EFL regulations (64.2): https://static1.squarespace.com/static/579f1eef2e69cf81541f5565/t/57bc6605e58c62993057c155/1471964677468/standard%2Bpl%2Bcontract.pdf
  11. Or taking it out of the money ‘saved’ on the O’Brien transfer…
  12. A players contract has to be in the form of a ‘Standard Contract’ - I may be missing it, but I can’t see reference to a clause to cover relegation pay decreases (or promotion increases for that matter) I think they’re covered, when agreed, under the clause ‘Any Other Provisions’
