  1. But you’ve just said in a different thread: ‘Eustace is right to go to Gestede about new players wanting in as soon as possible. Rudy is the head of football operations so will run the recruitment side of the footballing operation, why wouldn't he not? Does Waggott really need to be involve? ‘ You do confuse me sometimes 😁😀
  2. I’d want the same ‘responsibilities’ whether the budgets were agreed on a year by year or window by window basis. If it was the latter, I’d want the January Budget agreed comfortably before the window opened. I doubt my wants and the clubs procedures align.
  3. Obviously you didn’t direct this question to me but my opinion is… The owner/CEO should agree a budget/wage structure. The DoF/head coach should be free to recruit within those figures however they wish.
  4. You’re correct of course. Did a quick Google and it seems he was and they did so a fee of around £400k + the same in add ons + a sell on percentage was agreed.
  5. His age means there would have been a fee.
  6. What if they’re where they want to be?
  7. It’s on, I wonder how many of the less local fans will manage to get there…
  8. They’d only lose it if the money remitted overseas was used for a purpose other than the one they said it was for. Remind me what got them in this mess in the first place…
  9. Venky London accounts (year ending 31/3/24) have a loss before asset trading of £21 million and a profit after of £1.8 million. As you say though, there is still the Szmodics and Raya money so FFP is not an excuse they can use (they will probably try to though!)
  10. Out of interest, is the date dictated fully by the club or do ‘you’ have any say at all?
  11. Thanks I was more questioning why the shares have been issued for those companies rather than for Rovers. But as you say, wrong thread!!
  12. The £20 million a year is clearly nonsense but Waggott et al are cutting standards whilst (according to the accounts) increasing costs. I’ve no idea why this hasn’t led to their removal (well I do and it starts with a V)
  13. £11 million was remitted in October 2023. Whether coincidence or not, this is the exact same figure as the new shares issued in Venky London Limited in March 2024. The previous remittance (£3.54 million in June ‘23) is very close to the value of the last share issue in Venkateshwara London Limited ( £3.68 million October ‘24) Is that fishy??
  14. It isn’t always that high, since 2018/19 it’s been anywhere from £12 million to £20 million.
  15. Or Venkys’ motivation, ‘Let’s have the same January window because we want the same outcome’
  16. The issue (amongst many others) comes when they operate within the agreed parameters BUT still have to wait for the thumbs up/down.
  17. How much less business would get done if the window was only a week long?
  18. Lampard’s already up to the 17th longest serving manager in the championship. He’s been at Coventry for 38 days.
  19. STRIKER PLEASE PACE PLEASE FUCK OFF VENKYS
  20. Window closes 3rd February so his realisation might take a little longer.
