  1. Just one further thing to add. Sometimes it only takes one person ‘sticking their head above the trenches’ for others to then follow. Maybe this is what’s happened here.
  2. Unless you believe neither will answer honestly, both @K-Hod and @only2garners could clear this up very quickly. As to why Pasha would do that, my impression of @glen9mullan from on here is he does know how to elicit the response he is after (again - a good thing).
  3. Just on this point. The EFL regulations regarding these meetings are so weak it is very easy for the club to comply.
  4. Perhaps @K-Hod can confirm whether the outbursts Glen refers to have happened at previous meetings too. It may just be that Glen knows how to ‘push the right buttons’ to get such a reaction. For clarity, I would see the ability to do this as a positive as it can lead (as Glen says it did) to the loss of control leading to the truth coming out.
  5. I’m sure the members of the FF are clever enough to work out how to ensure the club are (rightly) blamed for this.
  6. I may have missed it but I can’t see the need to minute the meetings mentioned in the regs. I note the FEP says they will but do you know if they are obliged to?
  7. At this stage I think the FF should publish their ‘version’ and then respond (publicly) if and when the club challenges them.
  8. There’s plenty of spare room left in mine, I can still hear the echos 😁
  9. The Directorate of Enforcement investigation started in 2021, I wonder how soon into this Venkys became aware of it.
  10. It does and I maintain this is most likely to have been last year upon his signing. Having read the Home Office guidance it seems you can only use the short term visa if your stay in the UK is going to be under 12 months. The assumption, at point of application, must have been that Toth would be staying longer than that and therefore the long term visa would be the relevant one. Anyways, I’m sure I’m now boring most people with this so I’ll leave it here but for the record I hope I’m wrong and you (and @KentExile) are right as this will free up an ESC place sooner.
  11. I’m as certain as I can be that 25-26 will be Wrexham’s ‘year 3’ for the Championship’s FFP rules. They lost £2.7 million in 23-24 so that would leave them £36.3 million for 24-25 + 25-26.
  12. ‘cos it’s paid in instalments right?
  13. Perhaps we didn’t grease the wheels enough.
  14. Why would the player have gone for the 12 month ISP when he has a three year contract? That would mean him having the right to be and work in the country for one year but being contractually tied to us for a further two. I also doubt the Home Office would grant a one year visa to someone with a three year work contract.
  15. The first court case made clear they were wanting to send money to ‘protect their investment’. To me this = the bare minimum.
  16. We registered 23 players at the start of last season. 12 of those remain at the club. That sort of turnover cannot be healthy (with the exception of agents’ bank accounts)
  17. Despite the name of that website, I think he’s wrong. The regulation very clearly states the time period and when that time period starts from. I’m perfectly happy to be the one who’s incorrect but I just can’t see how I can be misinterpreting the wording.
  18. I wonder if this restriction is to ‘encourage’ clubs to use their ESC places on players they intend to go straight into the first eleven. The two other ways to convert to a non ESC continue beyond the initial 12 months - maybe Toth will eventually qualify under one of those.
  19. Matches when a player is injured don’t count towards the calculation. Here’s the link as requested (it is the GBE rules in their entirety): https://www.thefa.com/-/media/files/thefaportal/governance-docs/registrations/gbe-2025-26/fa-mens-players-gbe-criteria-202526.ashx
  20. It’s not the last 12 months, it’s the 12 months from the GBE being granted.
  21. Yes, as that part of the regulation says play 50% of the minutes (and play in 25% of the games) within the 12 months following the date from which he was granted his GBE. We announced his signing on 30th August and he was on the bench the following day so his year runs out at the end of this month - and he’s currently on 6 matches out of a possible 42.
