  1. I’ve a hand gesture for him.
  2. He’s Waggott and Pasha’s useful idiot.
  3. Don’t ask permission before, seek forgiveness after 😁
  4. The below link sets out the criteria: https://playerstatus.thefa.com/support/solutions/articles/80001137042-compensation-fee-tribunal By way of some sort of comparison, Harvey Elliot’s compensation was set at an initial £1.2 million rising to a potential of £4.3 million so (to me at least) £3 million for Dolan seems on the high side. I believe the Elliot figure was decided around 18 months after he joined Liverpool so it wouldn’t appear any monies for Dolan would be with us anytime soon. edited to add: The link refers to training compensation under FIFA regulations should a player move abroad. This wouldn’t be applicable in Dolan’s case as payments are only due under this regulation for transfers taking place before the end of the calendar year in which a player turns 23.
  5. Investments can be both good and bad. I’m sure we all agree which category Venkys ownership of Rovers falls into.
  6. Perhaps penning both versions of the letter will help decide which would have the most impact.
  7. I think this is different money (but could, as I often am, be wrong!) to that conversation and am basing this on the below from the most recent Rover’s accounts:
  8. I’m assuming this is the Crossbaron Loan taken out in October 2023 by Venkateshwara London Limited. Venkateshwara London Limited’s accounts (year ending 31/3/2024) had £5 million secured against property owned by them and by a guarantee from a fellow group company. Venkys London Limited’s accounts (same year end as above) confirm they are the fellow group company who gave the guarantee. This loan was paid off in November ‘24. I’m also assuming they borrowed £8 million but had already paid back £3 million by the time the accounts were produced - it’s that or Pasha is inflating the figures for affect…
  9. Surely we’re not at the stage where Waggott makes the starting 11 😬🫣
  10. They were given permission to send £15 million to Venkys London Limited in March ‘24 (for onward transmission to Rovers). Whether they actually did so is another matter entirely…

  14. Whether you think you can or you think you can’t - you’re right.
  15. Their accounts also showed they spent £89 million on players since promotion and they’re almost certainly coming straight back down. The money in the game gets more and more obscene.
  16. First half of the season form since our return to the Championship = average of 8th Second half of the season form (same time period) = average of 18th
  17. The 2011 accounts to the 2024 accounts show a combined profit on intangible asset trading of £13.2 million. This doesn’t show the whole picture as: 2011-2014 = intangible asset trading loss of £28.5 million 2015-2024 = intangible assets trading profit of £41. 7 million These figures include the summer 2010 window which obviously predates Venkys ownership.
  18. Spot on: The profit and loss account just before the takeover (June ‘10 accounts) stood at - £108,574,131. This figure is now (June ‘24 accounts) £317,653.881 so an increase of £209,797,750 for an average of around £15 million a year.
