After our run of six wins in a row we were fifth with a three point gap to seventh and an eight point gap to twelfth. We still have a three point cushion to seventh and our lead over twelfth has only been cut to five points. I think this shows how inconsistent most of the teams in this division are and how important that six win run may turn out to be.

Difficult to say for sure, same performance and loss = probably, poor performance and loss (or win) almost certainly not. I think this being my opinion is also heavily influenced by some of the names we’re being linked with (eg Wellens)

The more I think about this the more I think if I was in charge I’d: Keep Lowe etc in charge for the rest of the season (the safest way to ensure the team’s camaraderie remains) Spend most my energy on tying key players down to longer term deals.
