  1. It isn't but a win v Bristol no matter how shit the performance and suddenly more are paying it. Fine lines and seeing how fickle some are isn't difficult either. And that's not aimed at anyone in particular but it pisses me off about a section of Rovers fans since the early 80's. It's my choice to state that so grasp it or don't it's up to you.
  2. Fair comment I agree is too dear for that hole but it's becoming standard prices now the days of cheapos between us and them seem gone. I'll be going because i'll probably get there and back from Chorley quicker than i do to Ewood.
  3. WLWL etc is frustrating but iv'e always thought it's better than draw draw draw and celebrating the 'unbeaten' run. It's clearly going to be one of those seasons so to hear some people throwing in the towel already is a bit pathetic to say the least.
  4. Very poor effort given the attitude you take on here mon.
  5. Certainly shouldn't be anything less than 3k heading across although won't be as many as the last visit.
  6. I can count at least 2 occasions where fans have lost their rags at Wigan away, 3 actually come to think of it because we usually turn in a stinker there for some reason. God knows why other than the pie eaters always seem more up for it than Rovers and we get out muscled all over the park. It's hardly an intimidating place to go but the pitch is usually crap and doesn't suit us. Just wait till these wallflowers get to the turd 😒
  7. I hope we haven't made a rod for our backs with that one the lad isn't ready for championship football twice a week. He'll have good games against certain opposition who allow space but mostly he looks destined to struggle. If we are going to carry passengers it might as well be one of our own learning the ropes.
  8. To grow it the future yes for sure but to get people back in now it needs imaginative pricing. The majority of fans picking and choosing or lapsed are no doubt from the non Asian community. The biggest immediate problem facing the club is to hold on to what we have and get a few thousand of the others back regularly. Whilst of course trying to grow regular attenders from other communities and the wider areas, it should go hand in glove not one or the other.
  9. For some reason a Mowbray interview regarding their transfer window the other day popped up on my facebook. Reading it was genuinely hilarious it was a complete cut and paste from his first few days here and Boro and Coventry. The man really is all talk priming the Sunland fans for the exact same journey it really was almost word for word identical to what he said here. Whatever is happening at the min i'm really glad we've moved on from that and Tomasson himself has said it wasn't good enough. Mentioned the missing players and inexperience but didn't go over the top waffling on with excuse after excuse.
  10. We've been having these right back issues for years though it seems the Ewood policy is have a first choice but then draft in anybody or everybody as back up.
  11. Which is the same as the Coventry fans were saying. What a lot of these fans of clubs who are all fur coat and no knickers never seem to grasp is some players look at the numbers in their pay packet not the numbers in the seats.
  12. Now if they'd turned up in a ford escort like Jack that wouldn't have happened 😆 The sickening piece of propaganda, set up by Anderson, clearly to be beamed back to India spectacularly backfired.
  13. I really don't care if they come or not what i bother about is it turning into a charade like a visit from the royal family. Just come, watch the games and go again no need for a fanfair outside of the club. Those inside can do all the grovelling they want.
  14. Annual spanking on the cards here as usual it doesn't seem to matter what form we are in when we go there. Wigan 3 Rovers 2
  15. He's done that before though early in games particularly away from home so nothing new in it imo
  16. By the sounds of it he'll be determined to do it his way so lets hope we can tread water whilst his style is implemented and players get used to it. A full season and preseason and another 2 windows things should look a lot more settled next season. I'm uneasy though as i'm not convinced he's a settled side kind of guy.
  17. Exactly. If this was a TM performance, selection and tactics he'd quite rightly get it in the neck. No one is asking for JDT to be sacked but from our point of view he has to be acknowledged as part culpable for what is going on out there. To me he is massively tactically naive to what goes on in this league as tough and rough as it can be the Championship is also very technical. You can't over egg it though with such a bunch of young, new and inexperienced players. Back to something basic please, if he knows how.
  18. He needs to wise up and accept he can't play how he wants to in this league with this squad it isn't Malmo. We have injuries obviously that are having an impact can't ignore the loss of Ayala and Brittain however tactically we are all over the place. People like Pearson will sniff this from all the way down in Bristol, Mowbray will as well i hate to say it but it's resembling early Coyle stuff. Capable of the odd game where it clicks but overall pretty clueless there needs to be a rethink. I think any boss here now though is just going to throw players in and out and make odd subs just to get people on. All the club wants to do is develop players and put value into them rather than build a solid side to have a go. So if that's the case we need an identity and solid style of play to allow it trying to be clever will only end one way. It's early days but there has been a pattern emerging for quite a while and it's concerning.
  19. Couldn't put it any better he sounds a right silver spooner.
  20. Iv'e had dealings with him on twitter i know what i'm on about although to be fair to him he's obviously a passionate Rovers fan. Just his obnoxious arrogant Boris Johnson style nature doesn't do him any favours.
  21. No he really isn't he's a sunbaked hooraa who has a few quid and his tongue constantly up them.
  22. If ever there was a number 3 keeper it is Steele
  23. There wasn't certainly nothing wrong with Eastwood as a 2nd choice he stood in capably when needed.
  24. Whatever the values nothing is still nothing and the fat controllers head should've rolled it would at any other club. I don't think Mowbray and Venus covered themselves in glory in this either there is no way they can't share some of the responsibilty. Maybe that's why they weren't kept on amongst other things but it's done now and we finally seem to have someone in charge of the football operation who just might be able to organise a piss up in a brewery. Up to the ownership to keep backing these fellas now and make up for the shortfall the other lot created by losing millions worth for nothing.
  25. Bucko just needs to add the muck and bullets side to his game now they are playing him a bit deeper. All part of the development before the 10 million comes in...
