Got agree with that it's swings and roundabouts he's done well at times but hes also overseen a few of the worst runs and defeats in the clubs history. At no other club would that have been the case the fella was ousted at his previous 2 clubs for less.

Aside from the death spirals derailing every season the most annoying thing about him over the last 2 years has been his constant changing of the narrative. To deflect literally everything away from himself it's like at times hes been just a commentator talking about a random team, they/them and all that guff. That's why some end up getting personal and going over the top because it's insulting paying fans at times. We can see what's going on out on the pitch we aren't half interested people in different country. Hes got worse with that year on year as well as looking thoroughly fed up. It's hard to take someone shrugging their shoulders 'whatever happens happens' when they are probably drawing a million quid a year. So, sadly for him hes brought a lot of it on himself and if you read around the last few months the mood has really changed with fans. People have seen right through it after 5 years and i know a lot of gaffers do it but here it goes unchecked by tame media and of course our own version of a boardroom. Even know he's throwing out double speak so we don't know if he's laying it on the owners when he himself wants out. In one way iv'e a bit of sympathy for him and he goes with best wishes but on the other hand feck him, he'll have done very well out of the job. Life has to go on and football clubs have to move on they can't exist for the convenience of one manager and a few of his pals.

Anything around 18k home fans is a tremendous effort giving we started the season with the lowest gates for 30 years. Then throw in the biggest home defeat in our near 150 year history and the last 3 months of relegation form. Just shows yet again the fans are out there. Ok its taken cheap tickets and an outside chance of a play off spot for this one but so what, as always just be seen to be having a go, price it right and they will come. Set your stall out for water treading, put out the same bullshit owners statement every summer whilst cutting the budget and putting prices up. Most of them won't come. -
This will be like those famous transfer windows of the past few years, we had x,y,z in the building. Couldn't get one over the line though....

Deserves a send off if he's going and deserves clarity over his position of that there shouldn't be any debate. Sounds like he's saying if you want me to stay get me a contract sent over sharpish. Maybe he does have something else lined up or was trying to line something up a while back and they got wind of it ? Result is them not speaking and him sulking, it might explain a few things as even for them it's odd if they like him so much. So is something else at play, is all not what it seems. I think it's fantasy land to think they are just letting him leave naturally because they've got something else lined up. There's probably another squabble around the boardroom - sorry, i mean farmhouse table in Pune. Meanwhile Mr Grayson S is on emergency standby.

I'd start Dack or Poveda false 9 if they are fit enough and Gallagher isn't. We need to carry some threat in there and for me it doesn't work with Dolan, i like the player but false 9 he isn't either. We had Preston on the back foot in defense all night with busy pressing and threatening forward play. That is what works for this team so stick to it. -
So now he says he loves this team he tells them all the time, then says when they lose it's easy to criticize. Latest attempt at spinning it onto the fans no doubt, great deflection from the fact it's him who was being criticized.

The main issue for me under this ownership and way it's run is so much goes through the manager. They want a hands on access all areas kind of guy overseeing the whole football operation by the looks of it. He installed his own number 2 as some kind of assistant manager/DOF who deals with signings etc. He basically selected his own CEO and his own HOR, god knows what else. It means the whole inside of the club isn't really geared to withstand stand change very well and that is all wrong for a club of this size. It's like a closed shop and if he left they'd just need another to step into that. Minimal changes, another yes man means nothing will happen and we won't get anywhere. As has been the case all along the club needs a proper chairman and board of directors based in Blackburn running it. That gives the stability and keeps it, allowing changes below to manager and coaching staff without it imploding. Or having to keep hold of the same lot forever to stop it from doing so. It's a real problem this.

If they get 500/1000 in there fair enough, i suppose they are thinking a lot might pitch up on the day depending on Friday night. -
Problem is replacing him with another competent average Championship full back for nothing.

The younger they are the fitter they are and the more they should be able to keep up a high tempo. That stopped happening months ago, returned Monday night and briefly 2 nd half v Derby. Where has that been ? Well it was altered because of tactics and multiple changes, that isn't down to age neither is Bradley Dack missing a penalty. It's just a convenient excuse. -
I'm 99% convinced it'll be the same set up in the technical area next season his smirk after the Preston game said it all. So going back to JRC i'm not sure hes tried it enough with him yet to realize it doesn't work, we know how stubborn this manager is. So many other areas are going to need covering with the loans and the transfer budget in cash terms to spend will be 500k probably. That'll go on another midfielder i'd wager.
-
He seemed quite quick and that would suit Mowbrays wing back system they seem to put pace before defensive ability. Apart from that i didn't see much in him if i'm honest but i think we are highly likely to see JRC starting there next season. That's a whole other debate.

Zeefuik flattered to deceive but personally i don't think he's physically up to championship football. Nor does he fancy it that much he reminds me of another Henley who'll break down every few weeks. He might fancy the wages though but i think Rovers would be daft to spend money on him. They'd be better giving Nyambe the money !

Failure to prepare, prepare to fail. No central striker in the entire club, no chance of a Plan B and nothing to get on the end of the crosses from the winger brought in.

The atmosphere will hing on Friday nights result so hopefully all to play for and a vibrant crowd otherwise a repeat of recent home games. Still at least its poked the interest for now with the LT saying 3500 ten quid tickets gone already. It won't be ta ta Tony day that's for sure. -
Because it's another step to a new contract and he knows it, just wait till he gets one. The arms will be folded, feet up on the desk and the tombola will be in over drive, whilst he develops individuals and isn't that bothered about league tables.
-
If i was him i'd be embarrassed because of the stuff hes served up these last 3 months when that is what we are capable of. We have to give him credit for setting them up and going for it but at the same time it reinforces what we've all been saying for ages. Why, just why does he mess it around so much.
-
That's the key to it all, improve when you can and do it from a position of relative strength. Mowbray is a solid manager, average on the pitch but there's more to it than that and around the place he has built a structure. Whether we like it or not it needed doing so now is the time to build on it and freshen it up. These lot won't do that though the first remit has to be are they a nice man, will they toe our line and of course will they come through our agent friends. All wrong on every level that.
-
We can beat Bournemouth we already have although they weren't as strong as now obviously. However we can beat anyone bar Fulham in this division playing like tonight if the defeatist in charge gets his team right and lets them have a go. There is no pressure on us it's all on them they'll have plenty of the ball and our classic counter attacking game is back. All set up for a belter so why he has to start going on in public about it being on us is plain stupid. If you want to keep it off them you don't start waffling on about it you should be piping into tonights confidence and installing belief. Unreal comments again.
-
He's already lining up the excuses for Saturday. Pound to a penny he has them sitting back again and trying to keep the ball across the back 4 after another 3 team changes. Reverting to that and too much swapping around has been a huge part of the problem. Pace far too slow and makes players and fans nervous which contributes to the 'difficult enviroment' excuse. It's all down to his and their own making, just get out there and get after them and stop poncing around with championship standard players. Let them do what they can do.
-
I thought it was Mrs Kean and Anderson engineered that one whilst Barry and 3rd wheel were coming over to the Wigan game...to sack him ?
-
That's his position, push and close high up when we don't have the ball then drop back in to set off the counters. Cracking little player but stick him false 9 every week and he is lost, absolutely infuriating from the manager.

Dour, another Mr Stability and probably has the right connections so yes he'll be a serious candidate. There was a time a few years ago i'd have welcomed him but not so sure now.
