But didn't Rangers say that Thursdays offer was their last? I doubt that you lot can lie straight in bed! £3.5m up front and scrub the debt please........ or are you all mutton?.
-
They haven't got any...... its British oil. All them jocks dont earn a good living fighting in the Scottish army do they?
-
None.....but that's adifferent topic. i think paul gallagher might Then why does he not show it on the pitch waggy? Anonymous and under-performing contributions from Glaswegians are becoming rather too common.
-
Mine too! And we could pay for them from the gate receipts of our cup run!
-
Homesick my arse! Rover6 you're naivety is staggering! (And that MJ is equally myopic.) The backsliding Ferguson is playing a full part in a scam to pull OUR necks out! The once proud and mighty Rangers are part and parcel of that. Give us £6m you scottish gangsters then we can get Bellamy and then the lot of you can ###### right off back up the M6 to your pathetic existence of tenements and sectarianism. PS..........If you two caught a burgular I suspect you would chuck him the car keys so he could take your car and carry off more of your possessions.

[Archived] Poll - Falling Attendances.
thenodrog replied to Tris's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
Top post mate? Rubbish Pauls is a CRAP post! Your grumbles are hardly the Rovers fault that Paul. What do you expect BRFC to do about that? Do you expect em to provide a rug for your knees, a physician and Peter Kay to come and crack e few jokeds to you at half time? What you say about the quality is fair enough up to a point BUT Colchester Utd were far worse and should serve as a reminder what will lie ahead should the public continue to turn their cosseted Jack Walker spoilt backs on the club. I've said before this current apathy is simply history repeating itself as I heard all this 'too expensive / over paid / spoilt brats in the 60's.......... just before we embarked on 30 years of Colchester quality football. Do you want your kids to suffer the same 3rd rate footballing fate that you and I suffered Paul? Dont forget BRFC was a milk bill away from extinction once. For all our recent history this town has proven that it has 9000 die-hards, about the same part-timers, and a few thousand spoilt glory hunters, and an increasing number that simply dont have any allegiance whatsoever. And before somebody trots out the usual accusations you all know full well what I am referring to! We have just paid out £3m for a hard working, high profile midfielder, are being linked with a £6m striker and you whinge. How would you like to be Mark Hughes asking the board to sub that when all he has to justify it is a pathetic attendance like yesterdays? My overriding emotions at kick off 10 -15 years ago was pride, well-being and excitement but yesterday I simply felt anger and embarrassment! This town is simply talking the status of BRFC for granted, far from being a mighty footballing town we are simply the thickness of a cigarette paper better than Burnley and the rest of our small town neighbours. We are in the 5th round draw today ffs! 20 years ago this would have been the pinnacle of our season! I've said many times (and been roundly ridiculed) that providing the financial support for a top team in this area is impossible for any one town in this area and that a 30000 base of those real 'hard core' fans is the requirement to move forward. Well recent attendances culminating in Cardiff and Colchester yesterday has gone a long way to proving me right and the shallow-thinking, narrow minded detractors who come on here ridiculing me and trying to take the p1ss about forming one super club in this area completely wrong. I'd loved to have grabbed Beamo's mike and have told em so yesterday but the narrow backs were all prob in the pub......... Laughable if it were not so tragically and disappointingly accurate! As for the "Its too expensive Rovers must bring prices down" brigade. Well thank fruk that that daft argument has been put to bed once and for all! As I've said many times bringing ticket prices down simply does not work and anybody who thinks it does is not wired up right. We will have drawn more revenue v Cardiff City than we did yesterday! FULL STOP! PERIOD! All bringing prices down does is suggest that they are expecting a shyte match. FORGET YOUR PETTY GRUMBLES AND REMEMBER THAT WE MUST USE IT OR LOSE IT! -
Rover 6.........So if you recognise that why are you so keen to support his continued attempts to shaft US? Sod him.
-
Pay attention Alex. They wont pay 6m they want to steal him! Must be a traditional Scottish thing..... always trying to get summert for nowt out of people this side of the border is obviously based on centuries of us continually subsidising their entire existance. ...... has Murray the Jock tried making 6 bids yet?
-
ME! Thank ferk I married a woman that supports me for the good of the family rather than undermines me. Rover 6 have you been paying attention? Whether Savage is also a puff or not is irrelevant cos we behaved with dignity in a proper fashion and paid full price for him. If Rangers can or would do the same or similar he can go with pleasure. But they are trying to shaft us nothing more, nothing less. They even want us to take more of the 2nd rate never- has-beens that have only signed for em cos no one else wants them.... I mean who with any talent and ambition would want to play in modern Scottish football ffs? (btw Larssen was a complete one off). The shyster Murray tries to convince us that footballers values have dropped in the last two years just days after selling free transfer Boumsong for 8million! Well ###### to you matey! For placing some half arsed johnny foreigner defender at double the value of the national captain the man should be reviled up there. Our bid was backed by hard finance. Sky has transformed the once scottish giants into modern day pygmies but the sad sweaties have not the intellect to accept that. Sooner or later they will have to.
-
He's still a puff, you're a puff, Murrays a puff and Viola's a puff and if you want him then simply pay up or shut up, its all down to you lot of Scottish PUFFS.
-
Is he bollax! He's a spoilt mard-arsed puff! Whats happened to you lot? 'Proper' Glasgow boys who used to come down here to play footy in the 40 or so post war years were tough, mature grown men and bloody hard with it! Not only that but in the main they were damned good footballers too. They constituted a perpetual Scotland team that would never have been the laughing stock of European football, and would have cut their knobs off and put em in the haggis rather than capitulate to the Faroe Islands ffs! And in those days Glasgow was a days travel away not 2 hours up the M6! Check your footballing history and be proud, Mackay, Bremner, Docherty, Baxter, Law, Dalgleish, Shankly, Scoular, White,Souness, Gemmill and others of the same kidney. Then after that compare the behaviour, stature and bearing of the captain of your country and you gotta admit he's just a frickin PUFF!
-
From the LET article......... "The whole situation leaves Ferguson in a tricky position and he was due to hold showdown talks with Hughes today. He feels Rovers have slapped an unfair price on his head, which is scuppering his hopes of an Ibrox return." I assume the 'tricky position' being that the builders suppliers have put him on stop till his a/c is settled and all his builders have just walked off the site and won't return until their wages are paid in full as he promised they would be by this Fri! (that's No 7 btw)
-
Yeah. Good original thinking Hughesy. I wonder why no one else has thought of that?
-
..........And Everton have been mentioned twice already and are currently managed by a sweaty sock and were managed by Walter Smith another bum chum of Murray and Souness! Ooooh my head hurts........ Im off for a lie down. ..........So thats six members of the scottish mafia now...... I wonder how many piggin houses they are building up there?
-
Scotty.........I'd just like to draw your attention to a fictitious scenario that I posted on here a week ago in response to a post from Philipl. Read it and then try to apply it to the laughable Rangers bid and their strong reluctance to offer more than thay have to date. It may be totally fanciful but imo it does 'fit' the situation more and more each day. " Posted: Jan 20 2005, 23:16 Champions League Group: Members Posts: 4565 Location: Not Given QUOTE (philipl @ Jan 20 2005, 22:11 ) If Rangers are not willing to pay anything like Rovers' asking price and he has stuck himself into this extraordinary "it's only Rangers or Rovers" corner, what other option does he have short of going on strike and losing his income? "There are so many possibilities to all this. Who is to say that this situation was not a Murray / Viola set-up job from the start? July 03. "Listen Bazza, We've been thinking. We'd like you go to some Premiership suckers for big bucks, then play for a reasonable time, that will serve to get the Bank manager off our back for a time, then kick up and insist that you will only come back here and they will have to let us buy you back for buttons....... Oh and btw you can have 25% of any profit" " Does it make any sense now Scotty or is this all a product of my imagination? A few things dont make sense, 1. BF's only interested in returning to Rangers. (So, unlikely as it seems should Mu, Chelski or Real come a courting its a polite 'no thanks' is it?) 2. Suddenly since Christmas very unhappy at BRFC. 3. Derisory bids from Gers falling far short of his supposed worth. 4. Absolutely NO interest from any other club. (Do they all suspect the same as me and have been simply but quickly discouraged as Everton were?) 5. Scottish press in overdrive for weeks to keep pressure on the board at BRFC. (keeping that up takes a high level of influence. All those leads must have come from an impeccable source or else they'd have given up on the story long ago) Now I cannot say for sure that that is or isn't what happened for sure but if it had come off it would have been a classic sting...... especially if the 25% (or whatever clear profit they managed to scam out of the deal as Bazza's signing on fee) had been split 3 ways (and in property rather than cash) between Murray, Viola and Barry Ferg!.............. or even worse 4 ways with a certain ex-manager of ours who to date has strangely shown no interest whatsoever in stepping in to buy his favourite player (but could very well be in the midst of repeating the same scam with a vastly overvalued centre half. or 6. maybe I should be writing Taggart scripts.
-
Not by me Scotty. But if you had used the term 'overly naive' then I'd have agreed completely. Just how many professional journeymen / footballers currently at BRFC do you equate with your own words "It's about loyalty, community, passion, pride, sheer bloody-mindedness"? I would expect only Gally and poss Flitty to display 'community passion' or 'loyalty', after all how can any of the others? Dickov and Sav with the 'sheer bloody mindedness' and most have a little 'pride' but only toward their own careers.

I really cannot understand this view held by many of our fans. Explain what?? That he is desperate to return to his beloved DeRangers?? It would be utterly insane for him to do other than keep quiet. If the move takes place THEN he will talk. If he stays put then all he could achieve by talking now is to ensure he could never play for us again if the move breaks down if he is let down by the big talking small knobbed Jocklers. There are only two outcomes that we could possibly accept - either a decent cash payment OR to keep a player that will continue to play well for us in a midfield that will now free him up to show us what he can do thanks to our new hod-carrying-spear-chuckler. Those of you who think he should rot in the reserves if he stays are either deluded as to our status in the premiership or dingles in disguise. It seems to me that Ferguson is trying to keep all his options open and only by keeping very quiet until all is resolved can he possibly do so. I would also like to congratulate our club who have handled a very difficult situation as well as possible Excellent summary Tash. Why are so many people unable to see through the fog of their own indignation? Congrats indeed to the well thought out actions taken so far by BRFC.
-
Very perceptive. If nothing happens by Tuesday then that will be his only way forward. I think he is well overated but I'm sure that his position as captain of Scotland wouldn't allow him to sulk his contract out.
-
In fact right at this moment Alan Green commentating from Old Trafford has just asked why the FA can penalise Tourre for striking Shearer but yet say that they are prepared to do nothing about Diouf. Thank you AG....... Right on cue.
-
Thats odd! The FA got involved when "the sh1t hit the fan" at Selhurst Park. Cantona was banned until the following Sept by the FA (and of course canonised by the red scum) even though he had already been dealt with by the ref. What a cop out. There must be loads of similar cases where the FA have intervened.
-
Is somebody at the door? Has the phone just rung? Is your tea ready? If the answer is NO to all those then why did you finish your post at that point? There are a few that I dont particularly want to see play again!
-
Nah your wrong there Toogs. Youv'e forgotten the awesome and 'classy' Bambi Stead who Le Chuck obviously sees as our saviour.
-
He cannot be allowed to go cheaply waggy! Otherwise and for example whats to stop Savage doing the same in a fortnight? Unless the club wants to become a doormat we have no option but to play hardball with whatever means at our disposal.
-
Oh ffs!
-
Hah....you prick. It's one thing giving views to shock...it's another to talk crap unknowingly. Please go away, racism nor teenage football talk is a topic of interest to people other than you. Cleverly, you combine the two, good luck with that. Being a w***** isn't as easy to hide as pulling the covers over your head though. Shame. Prick? Wannker? Talk crap! Aren't you the chap that wants to see all the kids between Darwen and Manchester killed in car crashes. I would think that all that desribes you perfectly. What an immature tosser you are!
