Just some futher thoughts.. 1. I dont think we can count on a bid for BF from the Mags as Souness is one big bumchum of Murray......... unless of course Murray has instigated all this to construct a 'stalking horse' scenario for GS to come in for him at the last minute and take him to the Mags on the cheap. Anything is possible as they've obviously had much protracted negotiations recently. 2. I know nowt about Rangers (complete lack of interest in Scottish footy) but should we go down the player exchange route? Have they anybody we might want or at least unsettle? They aren't all Sweaties by birth are they. 3. I cannot see Ferguson playing for us again, at least not UNTIL after Jan 30th. 4. If Scotland were any good surely reserve football at Ewood would jeopardise both his place and position as captain. Unfortunately the Scottish national team is a big joke and Ferguson will probably still get a game when he's 45.

Whilst i am very happy with the ticket prices, can i make 1 small comment. I would like to have seen a young persons ticket available to non season ticket holders. That is a general comment, as well as for this match, as i feel that all round we should introduce young persons tickets at Ewood. And Nog, change the bloody attendance record please, its getting very boring!! Kinell! And a prolonged debate on young persons tickets is 'interesting'? You need to get out more.

So anyone who didn't attend last night is not a 'proper supporter'? I'm not even a proper supporter compared to a bloke I knew in the late 70's who had not missed a home match in years until his sister got wed on a 'home' Saturday afternoon and he was forced to miss out. He felt so guilty he posted the club a cheque equivalent to the price of his normal ticket! Now thats a proper supporter!

Ooops! Struck a nerve have I? I do apologise. Any if thats the case that you dont give a toss what I think then why did you bother to respond? And why in such a antagonistic way? Just who is the wind up merchant around here Tossy? As for suggestions to help the situation you have obviously taken mine on board but what are yours? Its easy to criticise remember. Love numpty

All this and the Boumsong deal included just confirms to me that after the Old Firm being rebuked by the Prem League last season Murray is simply using different tactics to get his sticky little fingers into the 'Sky' pot...... albeit with huge help from his 'man on the inside' of course..... Double Agent Souness.

Only just Phil cos even with your attendance there would only have been 9141 proper supporters! The apathy and general malaise towards BRFC is spreading and gathering pace it appears. As I have said many times Blackburn neither deserves nor can support a Premier League team. My warnings are fast becoming reality. We seem to have just over half the population that is so shallow that it has quite forgotten the crappy times in the dark days of the 70's and 80's. Times when a 3rd round FA cup tie against top flight opposition would have provided the biggest crowd of the season! Lets hope that the 'abstainers' had a fantastic time spending all the £5 that they saved by not attending (given that we would of course have filled the ground to bursting if it had been priced at £15). Maybe a few will write in and tell us what fun they had spending it. As for Mrs Flopsy and Scotty (After this episode I take it that is your nationality and not your name) the term "Use it.... or lose it" surely applies. Although I am sure that both are very well aware of that fact .... albeit in a very different context!

Dunno Colin but my disappointment regarding losing Barry Ferguson, Footballer and Captain of Scotland the Brave ( ) is a million times less than it was at losing MIKE Ferguson! Now he just was a proper football player!

God knows who the great 'Fregie' is TDI but as a player Fergy is at best 'moderate'. Admire his bottle?!?>! Dont you mean be aghast at his lack of it? Easiest thing in the world is to run away from adversity.......... most difficult is to live with the knowledge that you did for the rest of your life. He must know that his kids / grand kids will take the ###### behind his back in years to come. Anyway TDI I dunno why I've responded cos if I rem correctly you thought the greatest conman on the planet Corrado Grabbi was absolutely sh1t hot! Didn't you?
-
Especially so the time that he played with that dead cat glued to his head! He looked such a stupid tawt that I can only think that he must have been doing it for a bet!
-
Easy Peasy.........should have been obvious to a blind man on a galloping horse that MH doesn't rate Ferguson. Anyway whatever happened to the concept of giving credit where credit is due eh?
-
Or maybe Hughes is looking for a team captain.
-
Dyer!!! Oh ffs..... I can just see Mark Hughes risking squad unity by importing a namby pamby, underachieving sick-note who has absolutely no interest in developing or utilising his marginally above average talent. Leave him with the Mags.
-
Be nice if we could unofficially provide those two with concrete proof of that. Murray would pay 5 million then............... and Souness would have to damned well match it out of his own well greased pockets!
-
Back in the 60's 'Bob Hope' was something that got smoked.
-
Well get a new frickin family then you pussywhipped ponce.
-
Bit schoolboyish this but whilst Brum is without the UK's 2nd city in terms of size and as such should surely have a much bigger fan base and potential but the history books here http://www.krysstal.com/league.html show em very much as also rans in footballing honours. Wonder why?

"The final deal is likely to include a clause preventing Savage playing for Rovers when they visit St Andrew’s on April 30." How stupid! He's a midfield grafter, hardly Thierry Henry is he? What Babies.
-
8000?.............10000?...............11000? wtf? To reward the manager and board for shoving 'big city' club Brums words down their throat (hopefully) and having the balls to back the new manager and buy BIG by taking their best player and fans favourite Robbie Savage! For the chance to see the home debuts of two brand new and reportedly excellent international players! 3rd round FA Cup Tie! Kinell I've seen us not even get this far on far to many occasions before Jack Walker. After seeing BRFC win 3 out of the last 4 league games, become one of the form teams of the Prem and leap 9 points clear of the relegation places in the process! For the chance to feel part of the newly resurrected 'team' at BRFC! On another thread there is even a rumour that Benni Macarthy a top european striker for Porto is linked with our small town club! SO IF THATS ALL WE CAN EXPECT THEN ITS CRAP! What a pathetic, spoilt, gutless, undeserving, shamefaced, backsliding excuse for a supporter base we have! What the ferk Mark Hughes and his new management team will be feeling if that transpires then God only knows. Rem he is only on a 12 month rolling contract, so if we cant get a decent crowd now then who will blame him if he ups sticks and beggers off at the first opportunity to manage the first 'proper club' that comes his way..... As it surely must!
-
I doubt that very much but if he's so good maybe Hughes should be having a look at him.
-
Only till summer BUT we do need a return on our investment.
-
Should serve as a salutory lesson and timely reminder for all whilst the transfer window is currently open.

Half that in a helicopter ........ which he could well afford. It all just proves how completely detached from reallity so many soft arsed footballers really are. I wonder if a straw poll were taken just how many of our troops are happy in Iraq at the moment? But I haven't heard of any of them sodding off home just because they are missing their mum and their mates! Maybe Ferguson should be given a week off training and flown over to Iraq to talk to a few of our lads there. After that maybe he should then visit the devastated areas and people in the Tsunami area to see real misery and homesickness on an unimaginable scale. Homesick? He soft little lad knows f&*% all about it! I've said often that imo he is an average prem player nothing more and that since he came he has proved to be a square peg in a round hole cos none of our other midfielders seem able to fit in with his playing style, but if Rangers want him they can give us our money back and damned well have him, but only in the summer! And for what its worth if he is the best we can find as our captain and leader of men then it sickens me. And if he is the best that Scotland can find then no wonder they tremble at the thought of playing the likes of the Faroe Islands. What has happened to that nation? The archetypal jocks of my youth like Shankly, Mackay, Docherty, Bremner and so many many more would absolutely p1ss themselves at this miserable failure of a man. Mark Hughes' words are very good but being that he was hewn from similar rock as the above 'real' men he must be inwardly disgusted at such a ponce. I bet he cant wait to shift him on come summer.

You should know...........you bought most of em! Kenna, Johnston, Taylor, sick note and last but not least Yorke ffs!
