If a loan player is not used, then in my opinion it is a poor loan. I am interested in what the Rovers get out of the loan, not what the player gets.

The problem may be that they do, do their due diligence, then still for some reason come to the Rovers. My opinion is that this is a real, free hit situation for the managers. If the team has success, it is down to them. If the team is a failure it is down to the way the club is run. The managers kudos is never lowered, all the while he is getting a reasonable salary.
