  1. That is why it would be important to be able to pick when we play. Just choose dates when opponents are not involved in such tournaments.
  2. Countries from outside of Europe. If we are playing friendlies we could choose to play when is convenient for us. The allocated times for internationals, are for Nations league games. I have not seen anything that dictates when friendlies must be played.
  3. We are lucky to have a cupboard.
  4. At least with friendlies, England can pick, who and when, we play.
  5. I still think that the major motivator for England partisipating, is paying off the debt of rebuilding Wembley.
  6. If the teams where not involved in National league games, the players would be involved in whatever league their clubs were involved in.
  7. Vera for me, and it was a repeat.
  8. Personally I don't think the foreign managers in the premier league will make that much difference. We have always had Scottish and Welsh managers, who give even less of a toss about England
  9. Match fitness. Let's see if they play against the dingles on Friday.
  10. I think we will win by four goals.
  11. It gets wages off the books.
  12. If the owners have to put up an equal amount of money as a guarantee in India, what happens to that money ?
  13. That could well be a reflection on you. But as I don't know you, I couldn't possibly comment.
  14. I agree on the team that will probably be picked, but the team that I posted is the team I would pick.
  15. It probably makes paying off the Wembley debt easier.
  16. We are at home to the second bottom team. We have to go out to attack and win the game. Duru and Beck both have pace, play them as wing-backs, with three central defenders, Travis and Tronstadt to win the midfield battle. Cantwell to orchestrate the attacking side, the only combination up front we haven't tried is twin strikers, so it has to be worth a try. If after 60 mins it isn't working, there is always the option of substitutes and a change of formation. But then again I am not a pro manager
  17. We have tried most combinations, with little success. One we haven't tried is two strikers playing off each other. It may be an old idea, but it has worked for quite some time.
  18. Who is this effective player ?
